Well the lame ass answer we always get from HG, at panels, is "Buy more and there will be". I think this was discussed earlier this summer. Anyway. HG doesnt have the capital to invest on multiple projects and variants. They kinda like to flog that dead horse until they realize hey we need a new horse to flog. i.e MPC Veritech Jack Archer crap and then realizing crap is still crap so move on to next horse to flog, MPC Alpha. when that is throughly flogged then they might go with Cyclones. I would imagine that would be the smart thing to do sinse their new game is all Cyclones. But who knows. Oh also there are the Tread Resin kits. They are the same size I think but are not variable. Oh yeah plus a tread to scale with the MPC alpha will be really expensive. MPC alpha is waht 80 bucks right? well according to the lineart from my RDF Field Guide, the Beta/Tread would have to be physically the same height as a Yamato 1/48. If you compare the physical stature of a 1/48 standing next to a MPC alpha that is the size of the tread.

Dreadlock also looks like one of Kawamori's Designs. uh Fat Boy I think it is called?

Is it just me or does Starscream's fighter mode look like a halfassed Jedi Star Fighter?

I jsut thought it was macrossed themed due to the fact that the bow of the ship was the hand. Cmon that is SOOOO macross. What other ginormous mecha has a ship for hands? Also the head of Omega Supreme is also the bridge of the ship. Now that is macross too!!

Ok Master Megatron there, whats with the cyber formula looking car mode? I liek that Convoy has that flip up face plate, Thunder Cracker looks nice except in the pic it looks like the nose cone dips down, could be the scan, Starscream onyl looks good in robot mode.

Ah ha!!! Very nice. thats what I like to see!!! now just blue screen (or what ever color you want) and photoshop some city scenery in the back ground haha. THe first two are my favorite!!! My old apartment has a scale model of the entire apt complex in the leasing office. But it is all painted and has streets and what not. Shrubbery too. so it looks jsut liek the apt. The real apt is like 2 blocks big, and the scale model is like 20 feet long. (these are guesses from my memory) I always wanted to put Valks in there and play around haha.

Well I wouldnt say the Bandai ones are crap. There were some people liquidating them for liek around 20-30. and they are nice. I have one of the earlier bootlegs. The later ones I dont like. they are even worse.

Hey guys I was wondering if there is such a thing as Transformer purists. Similar to the rivalry between HG and BW supporters. We all understand the HG vs BW debate. and this thread is not for that. If there was a partisan organization for transformers I would imagine it might break down to Diaclone fans vs Takara fans. But alas Diaclone is like Takatoku. They are the originals and there is something to be said for originals mint. compared to Takara. However I wouldnt go as far as to treat Takara as HG/Toynami. We would have to look at the Cartoon. There is no real cartoon is there? Liek Macross/Robotech? Oh isnt Transformers an American cartoon creation? or was it created by the japanese? jsut a side question. Now in terms of Toys I guess you could say that Takara would be Yamato/Bandai and Hasbro is similar to Toynami. In that the Takara versions are better overall. Now I know price is a big factor and I like my 20 dollar Alts a lot. And Im too scared to transform my BT Smokescreens. but Diecast is pretty nice. So what do you guys think? Is there a Takara Purists Vs. Hasbro Supporters battle like Macross vs Robotech?

Are you sure about the head? maybe its just the paint scheme makes it look scary. The biggest problem with the Deadend/Sideswipe parts would be the rear windshield off of Deadend. You cant replace that with Sideswipe cause there is none. Topnotch on the sunstreaker, except for a few things. 1. the head is off but definately a good try 2. It looks too much like an S2000 with that paintjob. Sorry. It jsut does. I dont knwo why,

that is looking so sexy. So have you given any thought to the paint scheme? Oroginal but detailed? or original custom scheme? I think it would be a shame to ruin such a nice mod on a wacky theme.

well you could just go over to the fat dude and tell him to shut it and felex your muscles for him. one look at those "guns" and he'll be quiet. Thats the real problem with fatass sports fans... They think they are athletes. I maybe a lean 6ft, lean 220, but they see themselves as similar to me, where they maybe a fat 190. Probelm is you tell one of these guys to "shut the fuk up," and they imediately want to fight. I don't mind cracking skulls or anything, but I don't care for run-ins with the law. Besides as I mentioned in the scenario in my last post, the fat retard yelling at the TV can make a perfect evening a little less perfect but it still ends with Agent ONE giving the WANG to the lucky girl of the evening. Hey you should watch the skull cracking. haha I played Pool with a friend of mine and a friend of his, who i have never met b4, was there too. He had a upsidedown U shapped scar on the side of his skull. I asked politely what happened and he chuckled. In New Orleans, he tried to stop a bar fight. Got hit int he head by a bottle, then while on the floor was kicked in the head multiple times. He had multiple fractures of the skull, went into a coma for a while like 3 weeks or something.
