You guys would not imagine my haul from a month in japan. luckily I ran out of room and money. I had to hand carry XStoys' Low Vis cause I had no room. All my clothes were shoved into a small cloth bag. I used my hard suitcase for as much toys as possible. Tetris!!!!! It was crammed as much as possible. I didnt want to use a soft cloth back cause baggage handlers arent the most careful. Had to have an armor of suitcase around my toys.

Thats why cf18 needs to scrap the strike and work on a deep striker now. haha

Yeah sort of. I read in a newspaper about some find on a remote island in the south pacific. They found remains of a three foot race of people. Who had mastered tool making and fire. Something about inbreeding can create small offspring or large ones. Same island had LARGE komodo dragons. Supposedly the reamins were so recent that havent fossilized yet. So its like newer than neanderthal, I think.

Yeah get yourself a pin-vise. a pin-vise, if you dont know, is a small hand operated drill. Kinda like a large jewler's screwdriver. You know the ones im talking about. They are like 5 bucks at any hardware store. the handle is stainless steel and at the butt end of the handle is a palm rest that swivles. Well pinvices are like that. except they have a hand tightening chuck. You unscrew it and there is the drill bit holder. Something similar to an X-acto knife, if you have ever taken one apart. decent ones like mine have two holders with two different size holes, one on each end. so all together you have 4 holes. teeny to large. I will post a pic later today.

Not too shabby. I like it. What kind of decal paper did you use? Water slides or stickers? Maybe you should try making the Hasegawa design vernier locks. (the black circle with the line in the middle) the Hase versions kinda look like a keyhole. Oh and silver or aluminum spray paint makes the landing gear system look almost real.

Im not ashamed to say it is the Toys. For the longest time during my teenage years I thought Robotech/Macross was the dumbest sh!t ever. Songs used to stop wars WTF? Compared to Gundam 0083, Macross was another wacky anime that didnt make sense. Of course I was drawn in and brainwashed by the Persian Gulf war and anything militaristic. I liked how realistic the plot of Gundam 0083 could be. No stupid kids, no singing. Just one side fighting a war with another. One guy who has been festering like a long lost Japanese WWII soldier stranded on an island for 40 years and thinks the war is still on. Anyway the plot was plausible and I liked that, But I matured and grew to love Macross. I think it was the love of the movie, cause of the strike, that I gave the TV show a try and I loved it. Also combined with my disgust of Robotech after learning of its poor mutilated form. Oh yeah and you cant forget about the Joke Machines!!!!

Yeah I paid like 70 bucks for series one and two. I think I got set 3 at a good discount at Fry's but dont remember how much. Then I bought the original Cardboard box from, uh I forgot who now. So Its all in one box. I use the newer smaller 3 set boxes as holders for my other Macross DVDs. (I dont like teh Paul Champagne box)

Got the TFU Micromaster Devastator. But the head and the gun was annoying me. so i frankensteined my bootleg devastator. It was the rainbow colored version so i didnt care. Gotta get myself the green bootleg oneday

I think my Macross holism isnt that bad. I only have one 1/48 and one 1/60. I have all the Joke Machines I want. Dont really need every MIB although I have two out of 5. I have some Bandai Reissues but no doubles. I have my Holy Grail which will never leave my grasp (Mint GBP-1S Taka gift set minus arm armour) uh I do buy a lot of other crap though. Liek various Starwars or transformers. and little japanese knick knacks that are too cool. Liek MAcross Gashopans. But I only have one set. Luckily im young enough that I havent settled down. So when i find a decent job with decent pay I will find a place to accomodate my stuff. Rather than accomodate my stuff for my place. XStoys your my idol haha

That movie didnt star michael jackson. He was as supporting actor. Diana Ross was the protagonist of the film. Michael Jackson was the scarecrow. I like that movie. I jsut bought it recently like a few weeks ago on DVD for like 5.50 at Target.

Pat I dont think so. The VF-1S has that off green color for the fast packs and armour. Sleddogg: Why do you need head lasers? They look ok to me. If you really need a pair get a recast from rohby. He casts them in black/grey so they look jsut fine. Also he recasted teh gun solid. Original guns have a huge gap on the left side of the gun. He also recasted the little minmei doll. ask him if he can color the cast. (normally the recast is white) but if you want it to look original it is a shade of light blue.

Actually not really. Disney has an older cartoon that dates back to I think the 60's or even 50's. Remember those old timey cartoons of a little boy car who wanted to be a hot rod? And did so at the expense of his parents approval? The father was a taxi cab. The little hotrod had some altercation, I think with the law, as if some kid had gone astray and was in trouble with the law. got into an accident and had to go to a hospital/garage. Came back out as a taxi cab but kept the motor and his racoon tail antenna thingy. Signifying that although he willingly drudges to work to become and upstanding citizen as a taxi cab and doing his part by contributing to the workforce, he is still the rambunctious little hot rod/angst teenager at heart. anyway this CAR (Nascar Pixar film) looks like that. its just a shame that since Chevron's ad campaign is ever present and popular it over shadows the true origins.
