Ok so I havent been active lately but got the chance to go to MWCon10 yesterday. Picked up my SD infinity Alto VF25. Fantastic work. Some parts seem scary cause they are so thin but as long as you be aware of where you apply pressure and dont force things, you should be fine. The feet are diecast not necessary but a nice touch. Only gripe is the lack of a SD Alto. There is room for one but they didnt put one inside. Perhaps someone ahem *EXO* could sculpt one hehe. Oh also the3 lack of landing gears. But makes up by including a display stand. The SD Alto comes with two heads, Also not necessary but nice to have. One big head and one about 25% smaller. You use the smaller one to transform the Valk into gerwalk and fighter. the nice thing is the small head is just like the full sized head, all the same detail, it is just smaller to fit when transformed. Please excuse the crap pictures. Im in a hotel in Salt Lake city and have limited resources for lighting. I had to use a MWCON shirt as the black backdrop haha

I just heard the news from Tommy Yune. How terrible for his family and friends. One small consolation is that they know the cause of death. It is extremely frustrating when LAPD spends 6 months and then says "whoops we dont know how he died" I too remember watching robotech as a kid. I dont have clear memories of the plot or story. But the robots, oh man the robots were awesome. I loved the toys. albeit I never got to have them. Robotech was that carrot that dangled in front of me. I dont know how long it would have taken for me to discover macross without robotech in the back of my mind. I knew of the toys as a kid., I remember I discovered MW around 2000/2001. After buying a joke machine, trying to recapture my childhood. it all snowballed from there. I now better understand Macek's necessary evil, and I agree that it changed people. myself included, for the better.

I agree. I got my rand from Tommy Yune. He gave it away at the local anime convention here in Pittsburgh. Here are some pictures I took the other day during a power outage. -
Plans and dreams are set in motion to make JM 2.0. I wouldnt trust yamato to do it. We shall see what strings I can pull to get this done. It does ring close to my interests, those who know me.

So I have been playing Little Big Planet and there are some pretty cool Macross levels people have made. So i customized my Sackboy to look like Hikaru in flight suit.

Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Model Kit Thread Ver.3

Well I was in Hong Knog this past weekend. Ozma Armored were mostly all sold out. I found one for about $75 USD. Due to a typhoon warning I was stuck in my hotel and built the kit. I'm a little dissapointed that the armor is not like a toy. Meaning the armor is integrated onto the Skeleton. -
Don't forget. The pictures you are showing are my pictures of Exo's TH. Even though the pictures look great, Exo's TH is jaw dropping. When I was doing the photo shoot, I literally said "damn that is sexy" many times.

So remind me, what can dethrone my MGTH?

I find it hilarious that the laser rifle has to open to accomodate the front landing gear. -

Wow that papercraft Millenium falcon is insane!!! that is amazing.
-
Not quite in the same league but fun nonetheless. Google "Paris Metro Ticket Millennium Falcon". I had some online friends in France get me a stack I tickets and I made the millennium falcon and x-wings. No glue required.

Yep. That Duncan. I was at his house as he was wrapping up your "care package". Along with all the crap Jim was giving you haha.

Thanks. Yeah I understand bandai's reasoning to make one white set of armor. But since I have a vf25f I want the super armor. Cool time to order the sprue then. Can anyone check if the sprue numbers are the same for the alto super parts and the stand alone generic super parts sprue? Thanks. -

Can anyone calrify something for me? The VF's that come with super parts, Alto and Ozma, are their armor pieces casted in color respectively? I saw in my Macross F Archive that the stand alone super parts kit has decals for the shoulder armor pieces. I would prefer to not have to use decals nor paint. but rather have casted plastic. if this is the case I will need to request that sprue from HLJ. -

I dont get it, is it just the fancy stand that is different than the general release versions? -
And I thought Duncan's work was super detailed!!! well actually his work is really detailed but since I like papercraft, my hat is off to you sir.
