I would liek to thank Hurin for showing off his fantastic DVD. Great intro splash page too. Looks familar but cant quite place it haha. I think Duke Togo made it haha j/k I have read the thread but didnt really follow it much. But when I saw it "wow" I need to get an R2 disc now. Seiichi get me one please!!!! Thanks to Ali for the subtitles. Hoepfully, for those who attended this years and last years Con remember, Shawn had a tape last year of an interview of the cast for DYRL. Thanks to seiichi for taping back in 1984. Shawn finally converted it to DVD. Now that we know of Hurin's abilities and Ail's subtitling prowess we can get that sucker translated and processed for everyone's enjoyment.

I guess but it just seems almost like cheating. I mean I know xstoys could whip out a Minmei guard if he had to, but due to time and schedules he is a busy guy. But definately has the skill to knock it out of the park. jsut look at the past years of customs in just 1/6 scale figures. However I hope the judges takes commission work into consideration against people who actually try. I mean its sort of liek a professional athelete going up against an amatuer. There has to bne some sort of handicap. Right? Otherwise why make customs for the con jsut commission it . Im am assuming of course everyone is greedy and out to win a prize haha which I knwo they are not but the mentality is concieveable.

I think from Now on no more comissions are allowed to be entered intot eh Customs contest. The prize should go to the creator not the owner.

oh heck yeah!!! that cake was fantastic. Truly a work of art. I had the pleasure, more my impacience than anythign else, to open the cake box first. The minute I saw the cake an expletive of sheer amazement left my mouth. Then I had to share this marvel with everyone. I grabbed anyone within eyesight had them immediately drop what ever converstation they were having and told them "you gotta see this cake!!!!"

Nah it was under my suggestion. He was taking out latex gloves to handle the original sketches. He was really nice took them out of the bags and boards to show us. So i advised him that he should have used cotton gloves. Latex gloves can have a release agent on them. So he said "wait I have something" and he whipped out two clean socks from his bag.

Sort of the rooms you see are the clubroom, Activities room, library, study for my old apt complex. these are public rooms open to residents use. (my gf still lives here until tuesday so we were able to secure this place for MWC) on another note I have lost my hand truck. It was an ugly dark blue thing with rust all over it. But I still need it back. Anyone remember seeing it? I didnt see it when we cleaned up but still I wasnt really looking for it either. I jsut remembered it around 11 pm.

For those coming Exit Jamboree and head west (from 405 s turn right, from 405 n turn left) Turn left at next light, Michelson Turn right at next light, Carlson. Drive until you see a stoplight. This is Palatine. Park on the street. Walk back to palatine. This not really a street but the back entrance for the Apt. There are two gates, one for entering and one for exiting. There are pedestrian gates at either side. they are not locked. Walk in and you want to follow the street left. The street will circle around Think of a clock. You have just entered at 6 o'clock position. You want to walk to the 9 o'clock postions. There will be a stp sign. Turn right and you will see a sort of corridor made by two buildings. there will be a fountain in the middle a little way ahead. walk to the building on the left. So let of the water fountain. There are stairs walk up them and into the double glass doors.

Hey guys good news and bad news. Good news is she is still coming to our gig. Bad news is Saturday has been rescheduled to July 9th. So no MAri mini concert Saturday night. You guys will have to "entertain" yourselves that night
