I was building the Macross 2 modle VF-2SS and I painted it with Testors enamel spraypaint. After drying I put the armor on and the hinges crumbled. Some how the paint ate the plastic.

no I already knew about the tshirt. The shirt was a companion item to be sold along with the shoes. Im just referencing the original Macross sneakers to compare to the ones I found that sort a look like they could be macross shoes.

nope another photo dnish picture with the help of tape. It is white drafting tape. medium tackiness. I just stuck the armor on for the shot. just liek real photographers. stuff in pictures is held with wire or tape and rarely lasts after the shoot.

Ok there are the Shimizu Dunks. Danny Shimizu is a macross fan (not robotech) according to a co-worker of mine who is friends with Shimizu. Danny is a pro skateboarder. Nike made a shoe for him. well I found these and they look kinda like those limited edition shoes.

think of it this way. I Traded a VF-1S hikaru 1/48 for a YF-19 ver 1.5 and a Bandai 1/55 Millia. Which is about 300 dollars worth

I think pretty much most of the stuff you guys think is rare isnt really rare. I have seen most of the stuff mentioned first hand. anyway the most rare would be prototypes that never came to be. Liek the 1/55 reissue with new head sculpts 1/55 tomahawk prototype and the elusive 3' long macross prototype in bandai headquarters. oh and then of course all the prototypes from pictures like the real 1/55 VF-1D
