So do you use future is a sort of clearcoat to seal in the decals too? cause it said too use a clear coat over future som im confused on that part.

I need the people who are NOT in socal to reply ONLY. there is a lot of debate on what weekend to hold the con. But it is ultimately up to you people who are flying in. DO you want it to be close to AX or Comic con that way you have more to do than jsut a weekend in Socal? note that AX is easier and closer to irvine for the con. however nothing beats SDCC. But also housing for SDCC is mostly all booked. if you arent already going. So let me know when you prefer to have the con.

XStoys clued me in on a few variants and upon looking over my latest additiion I noticed other differences. first of all is the Heatshield. So far I have seen three types. Opaque (Solid black) Light clear smoke Dark clear smoke here is the dark smoke grey Another variation are some smaller plastic pieces. they are black or body color (focker grey) the pieces to look out for are the landing gear triggers, the little bump that holds the legs in place (between hip swing bar and fuselage) the slider that holds the chest plate here is a pic of the nose landing gear in body color and the chest slider Also the little triangle over the shoulder is either yellow or orange GBP wise I saw these two different triangle decals. Red and black

Wona bunch of stuff from Yahoo Auctions japan. but I forgot all about it. until it showed up today. I got a MIB VF-1S Roy Fokker 1/55 with instructions and slightly used decal sheet. It also came with a complete set of GBP armour but loose. And to top it all off I have the instructions for the GBP. Mint decal sheet and for some reason the 1/40 Gerwalk Nikick instructions and decal sheet mint. So the gift from my GF is complete and the GBP she gave me is complete with instructions and decals all around. Oh and I got a bunch of posters and a Mospeada pencil board. Will post pics later. I think the Toy Gods are smiling on me

I dont think you people realize the detail of the mervin set. here are pics showing how awesome they are to my regular JM strike armour that you all have recasts of. Mervin's pre-modded Cockpit pilot. while it doesnt have the peace sign, it is much cleaner than my mods. check out the DYRL stly arm armours here you can really see the huge funnels more here detailed shots of his genius.

um I dont think too many people liked the LED in the MPC let alone wanting it in a 1/48 but that is just me.

Im only doing the boosters. I will have to talk to Silver dragon about other parts needing to be recasted. The ostrich isnt a complete conversion kit. Its more of a kit to help you make your own custom ostrich. Also ostrich doesnt have arm armour. the 1/55 used regular arm armour.

Trust me these parts are not like Rohbys. Yes Mervin okayed the recast. also wanted people to knwo he kit bashed stuff to make this. The arm armours are DYRL style, the fast packs are detailed. and the pilot is already modded, while the rohby recast is of my whole Tanmen pilot.

I think you misunderstoof Datterboy. I meant all those parts as one big ass recast order. You order the Solscud/Mervin recast kit and you get it all. Strike parts and ostrich parts.

Ok I know me and Datter boy wants recasts of this stuff and Xstoys. so that is three people. I got SilverDragon interested in the recasting but we need people to buy the recasts. Im sure I can put two or three sets for me, Datterboy and Xstoys Here is what we will be recasting My detailed Strike armour set, originally sculpted by Mervin. (mine are not painted, this is an image of Mervin's custom.) Also more clear canopy recasts since Rohby seems to be out of the game. I will also throw in my SD Tanmen ostrich boosters. (note they will not be like the ones in this pic) The booster funnel, booster tip and manuvering thrusters are from the HASE ostrich kit. which many of you can get. just the main body section is what you will be getting And depending on the difficulty I will also throw in my dual pilot cockpit for those VF-1D and Ostrich customs. So here is what you get Mervin Detailed armour set Clear Canopy SD Ostrich booster Dual pilot cockpit. Not sure on the price as I need to talk to Silver Dragon about it. but please post if you want a set.
