well it all depends on how meticulous you are about the word "variable" there is a really small transforming valkyrie. it is about 2 inches long. It transforms. but requires a little bit of parts replacement

xstoys has a pretty nice custom VF-1D with custom box too. some guy from South America made it. It even has the takatoku texture on the box. but Rick the Hunter does good work. too bad he vanished off the face of the planet.

I am a huge fan of Scud and I have been waiting anxiously ever since I saw your prototype pictures at SDCC 2006. I was a bit dissapointed that nothing came to fruition by SDCC 2007. but I can see where the extra time was spent re-tooling and re-sculpting the prototypes. I love it. Im sure it is too late but is there any possibility for scud to have his gun store inside his torso? In the comics he has gun holsters, kinda like robocop but they are on the side of his torso where his lower rib cage would be. Also will he have interchangeable hands? for poses and such? If so may I suggest making a set of hands pulling a garrotte wire out of his pinky? A simple closed fist, with an extended pinky. Then chop off the tip of the pinky and insert a thin piece of string and the other end would be his other hand where the thumb and forefinger are holding the tip of the pinky and the end of the string goes inside that. If you read issue #1 I believe he pulls out the garrotte wire. Having removable fingers for bullets would be asking too much. Also would it be possible to have an interchangeable arm? The reason I ask this is because of this comic cover and then there is also a werewolf version of that arm. But I love where it is going and I anxiously await this toy. Oh are you guys still planning on making Solscud? the upgraded version of scud?

So the lucky SOB strikes again. I finally got myself an elintseeker and for the price I am willing to pay. And so now I have the holy trinity of chunky monkeys: Strike, Super Ostrich, and now the Elintseeker Thanks to Ben2099, he pmed me that he has a spare 1/55 Elintseeker. He knows how much I want one and that i will "truly respect and care for such a rare item" Which is very true. So he hooked me up by selling it to me for $600. Right around my ideal price range for an elintseeker in good condition. The Box is C8.5. It has a tear or two on the back. but the toy is immaculate. Missiles still on the sprue. if you read the post that tf guy put up there is a type of mask. you can get that blocks "organic vapors" out.

izzyfcuk nice looking GBP-1S. I too have one in that same condition although mine never came with the cardboard tray. one of the many minor variations of the GBP.

This sort of stuff is what we do everyday at work. I wonder if they just re-transfered the film using a telecine. It would make the most sense to re-transfer it at an uncompressed rate and just like anything, it is usually color corrected as you scan. however they might have color corrected after the transfer. That was my conclusion as well, that they color corrected it differently this second time around. At my job, we scan film digitally using telecine Rank Cinetel machines. And although we dont have a true HD transfer, an uncompressed transfer at 4:2:2 is as close as you are gonna get to one. So I think this is what they probably went with this time around.

Kirith, I got a DLP projector. so if we are gonna do any screening, we have another projector. it will accept s-video and normal video. I need to get the RGB, Component, and DVI cables. I believe that I can even get this hooked up to HDMI and therefore get upconversion and show stuff close to HD. once I get the HD figured out, we might be able to show DYRL in HD if we can get a copy of the new DYRL release.

well im focusing now on completing a 1/55 takatoku collection. I have GBP-1S gift set x2 Millia Focker super 1S now I need Max, Hikaru's 1J, and a cannon fodder. I dont really care about the GBP armor stand alone set.

Had past tense. I had 3 Super Ostriches. It all started July/August 06. When i bought my first one for 350 from Agent GHQ. Second one I bought for 300 here in pittsburgh in the fall. Like October/November. and I recently finalized a trade with a friend here in Pittsburgh for his Super Ostrich. But alas the whitest of the trio is now in the good hands of Ben2099. I think a Loose Elint may be hard to barter for 2 Strikes. maybe a strike and something else. Here is a picture of all three. sadly the only picture I have of all three.

I would like to thank Ben2099 for this trade. I traded him one of my three 1/55 Super Ostriches, the whitest one, for these two wonderful gems of takatoku perfection. The Takatoku Super 1S and a 1/55 Millia. Ben2099 has a Max that i need to complete the set of Millia and Max haha.
