Hey hey, don't diss my boy Pedro here; other than being seriously misguided, he rocked. Him and to some extent Mylene's sister were the only things I liked off of that. I say to some extent because they did like Basara. Ya it was a very kewl twist. She was talking to Basara and and saying how she was talking to her parents. I started to think, wait a minute they re-wrote the entire Zentron history? The scene where she was about to kiss Basara and then Pedro jumped into here mouth, again another Pedro annoyance. I think Pedro as a character was done an injustice with the voice over, its just so annoying.

I was doing an Google search for Princess Mononoke. Princess Mononoke was probably the last "theatrical" anime I had seen outside of renting or buying on DVD. And I was drawn to see what fan sites might exist. I came across www.hsx.com, Hollywood Stock Exchange? This site has to be a joke? or a really big marketing gimic? Has anyone seen it? Made me go "WTF?" but anywaysies... Anyone know of any good "English/EngRish" Princess Mononoke fan sites?

Kind of like the tail missles, and the F117s carpet bombing in Mac0? FYI I had seen that image floating around RT internet fan sites for a long long time. I had never seen it on a Macross site, but as always I have been proven wrong on occations.

I just finished watching "Mac7 - The Galaxy is Calling Me" for the first time. Subs were ok, but litterally the story did actualy bring me to tears. And honestly I am not sure what I found "sad" about it. It was "interesting", I would not call it bad/good/spectacular/hysterical... just in itself... weird... The ending had a real, I mean REAL good twist. I have never wanted to DESTROY anything in this whole world, be it real or immaginary, as I wanted to DESTROY Pedro. I got so freekin tired of hearing "Bomber" and all about the Maryjane seeds... I wanted to start screaming "KILL IT" I could tolerate the same RT Reba West Minmei song being played repeatedly for 8 hours before I could tolerate 5 mins of Pedro going "Bomber... Bomber... Bomber..." Battleing the Protodevilin with music was probably the most "interesting" part... Once again, I didn't find this Mac7 bad... just wierd. Music was good, it was nice to see the subs for the lyrics.. the songs make sense now. I need to see more Mac7 to make a complete, true opinion of it. Right now I'm still indifferent.

Hmm, sounds to me like ye olde Jedi mind trick. Let us rephrase this question: Larger scale Macross Plus toys? But seriously, how about a Ghost? When people think Macross Plus toys they think VF-11, YF-19 and YF-21, how about the ghost? I agree.... I would love to see a Ghost... but I doubt the demand would be great enough. But who knows, I could be wrong.

I pretty much agree with you about the Reba West songs... but Reba West sings in only about 10 songs (out of over 60 songs) on the soundtrack (remember its 2 disks). IMO The person who made the Robotech soundtrack what it is, was Ulpio Minucci, the composer of the background music. He composed 41 pieces/scores of music for the series (Disk 1). Looking at my playlists, 10 might be an exageration, The Vocal songs (Disk 2) has a bunch of other singers found in the other three parts to the series (Southern Cross, Mospeada, and the ill fated Sentinels). Even though the songs are really corny and 80's reminisc, "Lonely Soldier Boy" and "Saved by Science", IMHO are a damn good songs. Reba West songs, if you hear them more than once, can drive a man to kill... I love the Robotech series, but every time Minmei broke into song I had visions of commiting arson and murder. I agree to an extent, Ulpio Manuchi (SP?) did an excelent job composing the RT Soundtrack. But as for not listening to the Macross OVA music? I believe that music is what helped to make all these stories what they are... I personally want MORE!

What "I" want is a kind of M&M set but for Macross Plus... a Box set with a YF19 and a YF21...

According to Nanashi the Prometheus is 512m long (rounding down, that 1500+ feet) The www.navy.mil website lists the Nimitz at 1092 feet I never realized just how freekin huge the Prometheus realy was.

Sorry Its a Robotech image, its been in the Robotech fan website system for quite a while.. I recognize it immediatly, good luck finding one without a "Robotech" something or other on it. I could remove it with Photoshop for you, at a cost of course

Heck, at the very least I'd like to see a smaller scale say something like 1/75 or 1/100 would be nice. Something that will fit nicely in the corner of my display shelf. But worst case I'd just buy a Hassegawa model and paint it Low-Vis

I personally have seen my fare share of bad Subs... I have no problem dealing with spelling errors, or slight gramerical errors (normal EngRish). The stuff that makes me laugh and frustrates me at the same time are the "utter gibberish" subs. I have seen subs that read like "The Cat fire to the car, hoses make better trees." you sit there and rewind-play-rewind-play-pause... WTF? then fast-foreward past that scene.

True, but to someone who doesn't realize its an alternate universe (like me the first time I saw it). Its hard to understand and piece together. Now that I understand that its not in the normal storyline I could probably watch it again without going "WTF?!?" and turning it off.

hmmm... u mean u pasted the file name under the "translate web page"? or under the "translate a block of text"? what files u trying to translate? i've used it pretty often and i usually get pretty ok results.. if u have a link.. or something.. lemme know n we try to figure out something together.. Chinese? I tried that, and I just tried it again... I get garbage Coedes, Ya I pasted the file name into the "Translate text" on Altavista... I even used winamp to get the album title and tried it too... neither would work. I even tried several files.
