HI Göönk thx first~! I also think the pic is TOO BIG..... next time I will make it smaller ( IF I STILL HAVE SOME PIC TO POST...) but sorry that some words i don't get exactly the word " panel line" did you mean the thin line on the whole surface? if yes, he he, I just simply use the "GUNDAM MARKER" mark on it directly , and use eraser to clean it up too lazy.... and the word " takatoy stickers" is that mean the posture of they two use in the pic ? or mean the stickers come with the package? Very nice Hayao, I am very impressed! You used a Gundam marker and an Eraser to do the Panel Lines?? That is so easy I will have to remember that.

I wish I had the "white trash Barbie" (or was it "Trailer Trash Barbie" can't remember which) image.. I know a co-worker of mine has it. Here is a good ebay auction, from just two weeks ago.... Barbie EDIT---- not the one I wanted... but its still good:

Thanks for the link... I was about to say "I DON'T WANT ROBOTECH!" when I first saw the URL They have quite a bit of information, I'm surprised Its too bad Super Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross is fading into obscurity... it needs more attention. Its a classic for pete's sake (ever wonder about that saying... who is Pete?)

Egads! :hide behind chair: but... wait... Isn't Roy in Macross Zero... supposed to be younger? not older? on an OT note... why do they list his blood type?? just in case I want to kidnap him and steal his blood or something?? lol.. ignore me, its past my bedtime

I have been looking for good Southern Cross fansites. For a number of years (I have no idea how many) I have been looking for good ones based upon the actual japanese storyline. All I have ever really been able to find are "Robotech" and DVD stores advertising the Southern Cross DVDs and their "reviews". Does anyone know of any interestingly-good sites (in English, I hope )?

Like I said: You had said: I don't have any proof... but I would not be surprised that most "anime" isn't really physically done in Japan (for a japanese company yes). I would also not be surprised that the animated "Barbie" Crap-Movie-mercials were actualy done in Japan for a US company. We could probably debate this all night... but we can agree all our "senses of humor" are different.

I don't want to be insulting or condesending... but if you don't like it.. don't read it. The "Toy" jokes were funny... the "Barbie and Ken" thing was crap, no wonder mariage/relationships is/are disposable anymore. Now you can look at the fact that "Barbie" as a whole is fiction... and there are Animated "Barbie" movie-commericals (movies that have little or no story line, the only apparent purpose is to entice children to annoy their parents with "buy me this toy"... then the manufacturor does not make enough, seemingly "by accident", the market goes nuts and suddenly a $20 is selling on ebay for $1000.) But thats just my opinion
-
ya? so? its still funny... when has "every" post in this forum been entirely about Sci-fi or even Anime?? Its all in fun

I might be wrong, but that looks like artwork from FB2012... I bet there is a book out there. I would like to find out myself

ROTLMAO... thanks for the laugh, I needed that -
only read the first few pages... but.... NICE! EDIT---- Now I have seen Manga, but I have not actually had the pleasure of sitting and being able to reading it.... Please correct me if I am wrong! It reads right to left compared to the typical US left to right?? Took me a few minutes to figure it out (well I hope I'm right, cause otherwise it makes no sense ) Nother Edit---- ok.. I'm still having trouble reading it... does it read all the way from right page to left page?? It just seems like it skips around and I can't quite figure it out

IMO (of course, when dont' I speak my mind?) Airplanes on auction are not absurd... the USSR sells their old diesel Submarines (no weaps of course ) for like a few mil US a piece... they have sold MANY to the US film makers market If I had the dough (err Doh! lol anywaysies) I would love to have a submarine... pull in to dock go to work... go home... pull out 3 miles into the ocean.. and your in international waters... hehe the possibilities

Well I will admit that the DYRL Minmay is a hell of a lot sexier than the TV Minmay... either way she is a spoiled brat... 1. how could you put up with that! 2. How could you afford to make the date interesting so she doesn't blow you off? I have to agree with Blane ... she's an adult... acts like an adult... and you don't have to shower her with "glitz" to get any Now I am still stuck on Misa... as Claudia said in one of the TV episodes... paraphrasing of course "she's experienced" -
Please excuse my "freekage" well just to give you an idear of the image vs "reality" well as real as you could get with Macross... The main gun is a 16" gun just like a WWII US battleships The Muzzle (end of the barrel) is approx 24" (up to 32"?) The Depth (Chest Thickness, front to back thrusters) of a Battloid is 4m (approx 12 feet). visually the Valk appears to have the same or similar "thickness" to the barrel (when the Valk should be three times the "thickness") Now please don't get me wrong... the is by FAR the kewlest CG image I have seen, being a "Monster Freek", its just not... err... accurate I have a piece of "offical" line art showing the true "scale", problem is the image is authorized for my own personal use (and being honorable to my word, I can't share the image without permision. I know the person reads these boards, though I have not seen him (her?) post, I can't betray that trust) I so wish I could put it on my website. I'll see if I can find a "source" on the internet with the image. FYI I'm pulling the dimensions of the Macross Compendium Valk stats Mark II Did I mention I am a "Monster Freek" I have been studying (drooling over) the Monster for a long long time I just about fell out of my seat when I hear that Yamato will be releasing a 1/60

Micronized or full Zentraedi height? -
Uhm.. I don't think thats 100% acurate (more like 88% accurate )... the Monster is 22.5M tall... the VF-1 in Battloid mode is 12.7m tall (i'm rounding both to the nearest 10th meter) making the Monster 1.77 times taller... Still freekin huge, probably going to be the biggest toy I will have owned sinse I was about 10yo. Length... 14.2m Fighter 41.1m w/barrel thats 2.89 times longer now if we consider comparing a 1/55 bandai to a 1/60 Yamato Monster.... The scale will be even smaller (about 5% smaller size difference) Oh... BTW did I ever mention that I was an Engineering Major? hehehe
-
i would be happy with a monster 1/200 Come now.... are you a MAN.. or a Girlie Wo-Man... j/k Men want Big, Expensive toys!!
-
