I'm personally torn between a Glaug or a Regult with "missle pods" (voted Glaug)... an idear... they sell a Std Regult... then they can sell weapon's packs to turn them into small missle, large missle, or recon pods :Monty Burnes voice: Excellent... idear

well I remember the laser pointing forward on all the TV shots I have seen where you see the underside of the aircraft. Probably depends on if its an offensive or defensive posture for the pilot.

Actually if memory serves me correctly... as if often doesn't... and I don't recall what eppisode this animation is seen... But I distinctly remember an eppisode where the "head" is actually retracted up-underneath the Valk in fighter mode and is capable of "extending" out. Presumably this is something the toy isn't capable of doing Also I think the 'A' 1/48's laser barrel looks too long, looks kewl, but still I think its too long. Though I haven't really looked closely at the pics I have seen.

NO FAIR! YOU HAVE A 180!?! hehe my company has been promising to get us a 180 for monthes. We are already exceeding the capacity of our two (2) 135's by 25-33% Thankfuly they dont' frown upon our personal usage as long as its reasonable (though I am very self conscious about printing on our color machine). I can print any PDFs/Books I download... I just can't print 60 copies of a 400page manual to distribute I've been in OT "overload" this whole weekend... I haven't even looked at it sinse last sunday I'm starting to miss my little friend

hrmmm... not bad.. you need to tweak your "edges" of your image when you photoshop an image, otherwise it stands out... also btw... the Mark II Monster fires its barrels in 2s or 4s... the Muzzle Flash or "flame plume" is more cone/ball of fire shaped... the blast coming out of barrel 4 looks like the HE shell detonated or something at the muzzle.

I agree, I had to look at it closer a second time to see the "added lines"... pretty darn good, it looks nice on my monitor set at 1280x1024. Though probably at lower rez the image might not look as good. they should of redrawn all the lines to the same "darkness" and contrast.

no question about who made them they do have the "Bandai" on one foot. Kanata, thanks for the detailed "pricing" info... now I know how good of a price I got on mine. about two years ago I bid on the Phalanx, a single Excaliber, and a single Raider-X on ebay. I think my winning bids were like $4-$6 each. The guy selling them had several others but got no bids so he just threw them in the box with my items. I got two Raider-Xs, three (or was it 4?) Excalibers, the Phalanx and a Spartan all for the sum of about $15+shipping (about $2 a piece)! The only problem with one of the Excalibers is that its canon "joint" is/was broken.. but hey I got it for free Anywaysies at only a value of $5 ($10 tops, like I said they are heavily played with)... I have so many idears for points of customization. Even the one with the broken "canon joint" I'm gonna butcher the bad boy and make a diarama for it alas "Combat Casualty"

LOL well talking about the "Robotech" Ben Dixon.. he was annoying and IMO should of died on his first mission. never seen someone's Valk/Battleroid shot so many times and the pilot survive. He got shot more than Rick Hunter. Having seen the episodes over and over, I have never seen Ben shoot down even one enemy. IMHO, he was a JAFO (Just Another Freekin Observer)

I have several Bandai 1/144s (still need to upload a few more pics, atleast I am pretty sure they are 1/144s). I only paid a few dollars a piece for them. The are heavily "played with", though joints and such are still pretty tight, etc. Are they worth enough as they sit to keep them as-is, or would they be worthwhile subjects for customization? Their tiny, but I'm willing to try a few idears I have. Problem is now matter how I look at them, I can't figure out how to make them "Monstrosities"

I can't remember about in M+, but in the opening animation for MVFX 1, there is a scene where the pilot of a -19 transforms his valk into Battroid from fighter, and flips the throttle into an up position (bending it into like a joystick). Although I think they flipped the animation so the throttle appeared on the right... I can't answer your other questions though, sorry. I think your right... I'll have to watch the OVAs again, but if memory serves me correcly... Isamu would "rotate" the throttle control to change configuration on the YF-19 (I think its during the simulator flights)

out of curriousity, if you edit a message and select "delete attachment", does it actually delete the attachment off of Shawn's Server? if so I want to "free" up some of the space I have used uploading images to my posts and externally referencing them.
