thats not exactly true.. Guld blacked out and "thought" that Isamu tryied to rape her (or did)... then at the end of ep 4 Guld has a massive flashback then "remembers" that HE was the one that almost raped Myung... he realized at that point that Isamu and Myung KNEW and never told him, to protect him from himself (is how I interpret it). All this time Guld hated Isamu for something Guld didn't remember doing himself. my interpretation: From the clips I have seen I'm guessing that Guld saw Isamu and Myung hugging and he just went apeshit. The story seems to show that Myung loved both Isamu and Guld (Isamu a little more)... Guld was majorly in love with (had a crush on)Myung from the sounds of it... and when he saw them together his "possessive" rage took over. So many possible interpretations to debate over... for one thing its a stated fact that he "forgot" or "blocked out the memory" of what he himself did.

It matches what is shown in Memory Perfect, so I'm inclined to say its legit. having an understanding of balistics and trajectory... its a poor design to be fired in an atmosphere, let alone have a limited propellent capacity.

well for a "liver" I would recomend a lot of beer bah... a lot of beer as for vids... RT is cheaper and you can buy them in singles here in the US... original Macross is quite expensive... good question.

[null vote] IMO there is no option for "quit whining about it" IMO any and all Macross toys should be free to all fans, and cost 10x the retail value for people who intend on gouging others on places like eBay. until that day... if I can afford it I will buy one... if I can't afford it I won't , or I'll wait till I can

IMO.. I'm surprised for the number of times Hikaru damaged or destroyed a Valk that they didn't replace the damaged J parts with the A's just for spite of having to fix it every time he returned from a mission.

I agree Graham! I too can't view the japanese characters (not that I can read them, but thats besides the point). If I recall there are different versions of "Flash" for the different languages. So you would have to have the "japanese" version installed to read the japanese, but would then be screwed for other languages. Now this is speculative... there is also the possibility that you (the Flash designer) need to specify the language(s). maybe Big West doesn't want us to read it

I have an MP3 of teh english version and its horrid... its a rip from the end of the OVA and its not very clear and you have the YF-19 engine noise in the background. I agree the english version really makes no sense, but I would still like to have a "clear" version for the sake of having one.

well I think part of the problem is that the barrel should actually be tapered, but for the purpose of making a paper barrel.. I think the designer made it straight for simplicity. What I did for my barrel insert design was I took the overall Paper Monster dimensions, took the overall length of the real Mark II figured out the scale to be between 1:50 to 1:60 for ver 3.0 (or between 1:72 and 1:60 for ver 2.0). I created the inital design based upon a 1:50 scale (better to be wrong on the high side in my opinion). 16" at 1:50 is .32", then I rescaled my ver 3.0 insert back to the ver 2.0 size. and wha-la that is the insert I put in. and it does "appear" very close to correct. According to the dimensions of a US Battleship's 16" gun barrel: the bore is 16", but the outer diameter of the barel is between 32" and 36" (about double the bore size). I'll see what the overall "look" looks like once I have my ver 2.0 completed and see if I need to "tweak" it for my ver 3.0.

do you mean my cardboard "weight" for the nose? Its only about an 1" tall, whereas the nose of the Monster is about 2 1/4". I also made it small enought to be inserted into the nose after the torso has been completed, but before the legs are attached. I figure it should add about 6-8oz to help rebalance the bad boy.

looking at those pictures I see so many areas for customization/detailing. for one, there is no color detail to the missles in the missle pods, they just look like un-colored molded plastic. Otherwise, gawd I want to get one of those.
