This is just a repaint no? Well..good job anyway. Besides adding in the yellow details and zentraedi markings, it would be cool if someone recasted the head to become TV-version.

I'm not from the US....nooooo!! Gimme!

very comprehensive list, expcet you'd probably want to add that the EVA03 and 04 also has the Japan version, as well as the US tube packaging version. I love my kaiyodos, but I'm very disturbed by the EVA-01 head sculpt. How suck is the sculpt for it? The alternate berserk head is not too bad, but what's the deal with the other head? It's neither opened nor closed mouth...it looks lame. Sigh! Liquid[Evil]: GRRR!! You rich *(!@&*(!&@! buy me some SOCS !!!

I know the endor movies, the droids and ewoks cartoons...but what is this holiday special thing?

Leon is a pussy. I'm getting so sick of metrosexual males featured in japanese video games.

I liked the 1st 2 Batman movies. What ya find wrong with them? Ahh...I will eternally love the Batwing and Batmobile scenes. On a slightly off topic note, who has seen Batman: Dead End ? Its a million dollar budget fan made Batman movie which is about 10 minutes long. Very cool! They included Predator and Aliens in it....all done by fans.

Why do all the mecha cockpit now look like Evangelion's ?

Not only that, they dodge, and they coordinate attacks. WTF?! New T-Virus. Hehe.

I got mine for 46 USD 2 months ago. This toy was out for quite some time, but seems they dropped the price for clearance. Get the GFF Fix....I personally don't like the MG line. The Zeta Cplus my friend has is hardly poseable. It seems the most stable pose for it is to stand up straight and still. The legs can hardly move due to its transformation hinges. MG line uses dry decals, which is SO *(!&@*(!& hard to apply that you swear you'll pull your hair out trying to get them in place and stick to surfaces. The FIX is pretty good. The paintjob is good and precise, in contrast to Graham's fears months ago. Only bad thing i can think of is taking the parts out and removing all them twisty wires. And each transformation form leaves out alot of spare parts.....right now I just leave it at humming bird mode....eventhough I prefer it in the normal Cplus mode. But I think I won't do it justice since the Zplus mode leaves out the most spare parts.....heh My baby............ Btw...who has a deep striker? I want one!

Ah.....are they both the same scale? The kaiyodos are actually slighly bigger in scale than the SOCs.

Actually about 2 years or so ago during halloween, we opened the garage, turned on all the games, setup some black lights, laid out some dry ice and passed out candy on the driveway. Let the kids play a couple games and get some candy while they were at it. The neighborhood kids seemed to really enjoy it. Just to see the big smiles on the children's faces was a great feeling in itself. I wanna be JUSTTTT like you when I grow up..... You sure you didn't go to the local game arcade and took pictures there? Daaaamnnnnnnnn.........your house is like an entertainment store.

Whatever you buy, don't buy the Perfect Grade EVA-01. Its pretty crap for a Perfect Grade. I have it, and its crap. parts break too easily....articulation is very limited, and you have to glue the "grasping" hands on the weapons, which means once you use the grasping hands for the rifle, you can't use it for the swords and the knife anymore.

Urmm...what exactly is Mobile Suit Variation??
-
ooohh....that DOES look scary. Cool easter egg they left there though. But I'll think I'll leave its faceplate where it is.....don't wanna wreck my MPC prime....

If you're not that rich, but would like to collect the whole set of EVAs out there, I recommend the ones by Kaiyodo and Art Asylum. They have all the EVAs including the Mass Production EVA Series. I got the whole set and have this big chocolate box worth of extra accesories. You won't know what to do with them and pose them with. You'll probably end up like me, keep changing their poses every week.

Thanks for the info. So as an Alternators collector, I take it you don't have much complaints over them? Just found out that the RX-8 would be named MEISTER. WTF? And Tracks' face looks like crap.

Sorry if this has already been discussed to the death. I already have Takara's MPC Prime. Its a great buy. No regrets. Chose it over Hasbro's plastic, castrated smokepipes, battle damaged one. But I was thinking of collecting the rest of the MPC line which includes Smokescreen, Sideswipe, Silverstreak, Hound, Jazz(?). But the problem I have with the smaller Takara MPCs, they're small and cool, but one of them costs half the price of a Takara MPC Prime. And the way it seems, there's gonna be alot of these ones. So I was thinking maybe I'll buy Alternator versions for the cars, and probably only buy the Binaltech versions of the ones I'd really want, like Smokescreen and Jazz. Who owns both a Binaltech and Alternator? Other than lack of diecast, how different are the Hasbro versions? Do they have that shiny sheen as the die cast Binaltech ones have?

Oooh...oooh I want it I want it! I only have the short clip of the fight scene and the corny song that was on bit torrent.

same here, sigh.... Here too. Would be pretty cool. Maybe they're waiting for a time when their animation becomes top notch. Scuse my ignorance, but what does MSV stand for and what is it? I posters of it everywhere. SEED Spinoff or something? I wanna get the 1/100 Red Frame when it comes out.

You're joking right?

Wow...that's very cheap. Get one for me! I wish I was in HK. *sigh* ha ha, but I wish I was in JAPAN~ sometimes, some common cheap stuff in japan will become special expensive treasure in HK , I hate this~! I don't wanna be speculative, but some people told me that the stuff gets created in China, and before they get shipped to Japan to be sold there, some gets smuggled outta the factory to be sold to local retailers for dirt cheap prices, and thus the huge profits they make even when selling at 30% the going rate anywhere else. Factories owned by Triads and mafia bosses.....mmmmm....i wish I knew one to supply me valks. jk

Gashapons come in "egg" vending machines. The figures are packed into these egg-like containers and come out of the machines randomly. We usually buy them as sets online though. Trading figures are usually larger and better quality and come in boxes (like the K&Ms). Again, they are random but MOST trading figures come with clear/bronze/silver color variations of the set. So for example, if a set has 5 figures, it has 5 extra alternate non-colored versions making it 10 figures in the set that you can get randomly, which is extremely annoying when all you want is just 5 of the normal colored set. Some online shops do sell trading figures in sets, unlike HLJ.

Macross and non-macross related collection. The Gashapons are on the table and my Kanon trading figs are on the TV. http://www.wolf-x.com/gallery/collection06-01-2004?page=2
