Oh no....too many asuka/reis coming out this season. All by Sega Prize...ARGH.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3190487383&rd=1

Damn you Bob. I told myself just now that I won't get this set. Now i'm back to fence sitter.
-
Good catch. Didn't realise it. The chances of Astray being animated have as much chance as Gundam Sentinel being animated. But who knows? All them fanboys gathered during GUndam Seed might just make Bandai do cameos in Gundam Seed 2 or whatever the next Gundam is about. PS: Saw the MSV video at the end of Gundam Seed Special part 1. Calamity Sword...oooOoooh....

I still prefer this set, Bob. The trading figs faces look weirder than the gash. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3190581550&rd=1

Bob's getting horny and staring up all of their pantsus.....

Its Golden Week for them already? Heh. My Golden week starts next week. w00ts!!

Nah...its just that I keep comparing prices of things to a 1/48 valk cause I only have one and wish for another. Like the Pinky:St figures, 1/10 a 1/48 valk each....woohoo! Cheap! Mahoro = 90% a valk....oooh...expensive. Know what I mean? Need to rise higher in the corporate ladder.

EeEepp! Yellowing? Guess UV lighting is not an option then. How about this "Black Light" I've heard about. Some people display their collection using "Black Light" and I don't know wth that is.
-
For those who have ordered from Tokyo-central... have you guys got shipping notices/got the figure already? I had a confirmation from them 5 days ago but until now, no reply if its being shipped or anything.

EeeeeeEEeee that's so damn cool! Mahoro-san! Yes I loved that resin kit....but I'm abit disappointed that the price of this PVC figure is very high. I can't afford it. I'd rather use the money and buy me a valk or binaltech.

I remember those, the Adepta Sororitas figures, they only made two or three, I bought them (and yes I painted their armour pink) They didn't abandon the idea though, it simply evolved into the Sisters of Battle. But Warhammer 40K and Hello Kitty, what an inspired combination, I wish I had thought of it first. Oh, there still are female Space Marines? Sorry, I got out of gaming a long time ago, and WH40K a while before that! Theres probably some Blood Angels recruiting officer holding his head his hands and wailing "Where did I go wrong?! I told them we shouldn't let them mix the red paint, but would they listen...?!" I've been out for long as well...but randomly when I feel like it update myself and found out about the new races like the Tau and Dark Eldar and Necrons. Heh. The Adepta Sororitas or sisters of battle are dedicated nuns of the imperial church. (forgot the name) They are the military hand of the church, and they defend their priests and go for witch hunts and planetary purging missions. They wear power armour but they are not genetically modified like their brother marines. But, like the Hello Kitty on top of the Whirlwind, it would be pretty insulting to the enemy if you wore a Hello Kitty suit, running around pwning everyone.

The ending is cool.... but doesn't leave room for a Gungrave OD anime sequel. Too bad there was nothing mentioned about brain-in-coffin as well as Big Daddy's final fate. (In the game, Big Daddy was changed into a Superior...one big ugly mutha *(!&@(*!@!@!)

Awhile back (like years ago) on the anime.models.misc (i think), crazy probe was talking about using UV light on MSIAs and the cool effect it gave. I was thinking of installing some of those UV tubes on my display cabinet for fun....but has anyone tried using the lights on their valks on various toys? Did they make them look all glowy and cool?

Got mine for about 73 bux. Worth every penny.
-
Those look like marines.....not sisters of battle. Otaku marines!
-
Hey....BOB, why are you having pictures of my wife in one of our "cosplay night" costumes?
-
Find it in your temporary internet files.

Well in Escaflowne, they fight with giant swords. But that's only cause they don't have proper projectiles other than a giant ballista turned longbow for a Guymelef.

Teen-angst?? Gungrave? Is your friend watching the right anime? Gungrave is more about brotherhood, friendship, family, and betrayal in a mafioso setting. Think of it as Godfather with an anime twist and throw in a technology to raise undead soldiers and you get Gungrave. It explores how 2 best friends slowly turn on each other as they rise up the mafia ladder and the consequences they have to live with. I'm not sure where that teen-angst your friend saw....

To clear things up, it is not by the same staff as the Trigun staff. Yatsuhito Nightow the character designer for Trigun was the original designer for Grave in the game, but that's it. Studio Red it seems is made mostly of Chinese and Koreans. (look at the credit's names) Gungrave O.D the game s out for a few months. About 2 months I think. There are no plans to have an English subbed version for it and I read fan-sites that said it might never be subbed. Not sure why. I have the Grave figure by Kaiyodo. The joints are very tight especially its shoulders which make it hard to pose....but otherwise this figure is some excellent crap. Love it. Gungrave anime is good stuff. The 1st episode felt boring and was like crap IMHO....but if you could get past the initial 1st episode, its smooth sailing all the way. Good stuff. Shall watch the last episode tonight. I have to go to work now. Sigh! non-last episode SPOILER I was abit annoyed why they didn't explain the coffin's design and why is there a brain in the skull (as it was shown in the figure). In the battle with Bear Walken, the coffin gets sliced up...WTF? BAHHH!! [/color]

Headmaster? Otherwise...cool!

Damn, I wish they made a MG Sword Strike, that I could customize the crap out of... I'm not sure, but I think this MG can fit the normal HG 1/100 Sword/Launcher kits. So you can buy those and plug those into the MG. But don't take my word for it. I'm only guessing from the shoulder mounts and hand mounts that it can be done, or there might be plans to release a weapons pack for it. This would probably be my only Gundam Seed kit i'm willing to buy....and if the Aegis Gundam gets to MG, i'll consider that as welll. But for now, only other Seed kit I'd get is the 1/100 Red Frame which is yet to be released. The 1/144 for it is so poseable, I'm having wet dreams thinking of the 1/100 HG.
