Since I'm a Macross hardcore fan and I've heard so much good stuff of that game, I decided on buying the PS2 console only for the Macross game, but first I need to know if the game is compatible with consoles bought this side of the Pacific, since the game is japanese and (if memory serves me) the VFX game couldn't be played with standard westen Play Station consoles. I'm not an über Votoms fan, but I've always liked the Scopedod, so I'm gonna get one. But for the pictures it looks like Yamato is releasing various versions, my question to those who know Votoms better is: which one should I get? Chirico's is the all green one, or is it the Red Shoulder the most characteristic of the series? Maybe I can just buy the "red shoulder" and put it to the green Scope Dog Any suggestions? Okay, nevermind: I just read that the Red Shoulder is a special bundle edition for TRU Japan and the purple looks cheesy, so I'll end up getting the green.

Recently I found myself hiding new toys from her. Not that she hates my geekdom, it's just that she moved to my apartment recently and we have so little space. I have my Millenium Falcon and my AT-AT sitting on the living room and she want's sort of a "lounge" style decoration were the Star Wars elements don't fit. Poor thing, I'm beginning to understand her now. Anyway. What she DOES hate are my gashapons. For her it's just cheap trash collecting dust.

Hey, guys! Since nobody has yet posted this image, I thought I'll do it. Note how nice the shoulder connects to the lower arm in fighter mode. I've tried everything and my Bernerd still shows awful gaps there. Can anyone give me a tip on how to put them closer together?

I'm still months away from mine but I'm thinking in customize it with decals like Montarvillois did with he's. By the way, where can I get some custom decals for 1/48 Valks? Is there a online catalog someplace? Guys?

let's hope some MWer get one at the show and hand it to one of our gifted recasters for the community's sake As for me, call me the fool of the forums, but I firmly believe that Yamato is developing a perfect variable YF-19, so for me is a matter of time and patience. After all, despite how much we like the Koenig, none of us ever imagined Yamato would take care of it and here it is! A YF-19 makes so much more sense in terms of profit with those garage models selling for 300 smakers!!!

I 100% agree with GobotFool. I think Yamato knows the consumer's leaning towards perfect variable toys too and that'0s why I'm a Yamato fan. I say down with the 1/100 VF-0!

Those customs are incredible, specially since they're customs. That said, I think the most common problem in variable 19's is the height of the trunk. A short trunk is what makes the batt mode looks bad ass.

Looks perfect transformation, all right. Obviously the hands don't fold, but seems like you don't have to take them off, 'cause they're well concealed under the shield in fighter mode (see the fighter mode rear picture, there's a fist sneaking from underneath the shield). Hey, Graham: good luck in getting those. Don't forget to post picks of it. I'm not going to Japan, so I think I'll just keep hoping for the promised Yamato YF-19.
