  1. I have no real complaints with the fighter. You can see that Yamato tried their best to keep it accurate and streamlined (we still have to see a side view of the actual gut tho'). I understand all the nitpicks of the fighter-mode lovers here, but what really worries me is that the more accurate the fighter mode looks, the more compromised the battroid is (this is specially true on the 19), and I'm a battroid guy, so I'll do what JELEINEN said and reserve further judgement when the battroid pics arrive.
  2. I've heard that a person can lead a normal life with a single kidney. Hmmm.
  3. Agreed. That at least is still doable. The other thing is the single hinged canopy, but I guess it's a bit late to redesign it. (BTW: It's me or the figure looks a tad big in comparsion to the plane? I can't see how Yang could sit in the back, but that don't bother me so much). This lady's got a fat a$$, so somethin as simple as the wings being larger woulf fix it altoghether IMO. Thanks to Graham for the pics. The whole discussion on the CAD drawings was starting to get pathetic
  4. If Yamato fail to make a replacement for this or if they decide to reissue the entire toy, we always can ask some of our gifted modellers to make a decent plastic shoulder.
  5. I should be signing at the Dark Horse booth on friday, but I couldn't make it this year. Can someone at least do a report for us simpletons?
  6. What dyowelb said. I can't wait for all the gifted people here to start building and showing their own custom Legiosses.
  7. Thanks, Kensei.
  8. I finally paid for mine. I had it on preorder on Twin Moons since it was first announced and I will be the last one to get it. That could be a good thing after all the breakeage reports, but I'm a bit concerned (where's the terrified emoticon?)
  9. Yamato picking up M23 is like a dream come true for me. I'd say Appleseed should come next. I want fully poseable landmates with removable little pilot action figures inside Yay!
  10. Hey, guys! I just realized about this section. As I posted in the "Wanted" section, I burned the left arm of my red Q-Rau. Yes, burned. It was a rainy night, the lights went off, I light a candle, blah, blah, blah, I'm an idiot. Anyway, I remember some time ago this french dude that has his red Q-Rau smashed during shipment. If you are this guy or had a similar problem with your Q-Rau, please PM me. I could use a new head too (for the toy).
  11. Once colored it doesn't look much better than the 1/72 IMHO. I'm not trolling I swear.
  12. I've always thought that the 19's design was inspired on flying swans. The 1/60 so far looks too fat. I know, I know: "the actual toy looks much better". It's about time we get to see some prototype shots and quit all this speculation around those cad drawings. When is the next hobby/figure magazine set for release?
  13. So does this means that Yamato will sell an improved version of the Garland or just the redesigned part?
  14. Oh, I didn't realize, thanks Yeah. I learned about this prop on that thread. I wanted a BR blaster, but I wasn't thrilled by the idea of having to sand it build it and paint it myself (I have no modelling skills whatsoever), and R_Deckard said that the Richard Coyle version (that looked absolutely gorgeous in the production pictures) needed some serious mod to make the bolt action and opening revovler cylinder work. A shame really, 'cause as Richard Coyle himself states, his prop was made from the actual guns used for the original hero prop, a number of original stunt casts and some serious research, so his was the most accurate gun available. A few days later I found out on ebay that Richard Coyle was selling finished pieces with display stand plaque and COA with working parts, working LEDS and dummy bullets Edit: http://cm.ebay.com/cm/ck/1065-29392-2357-0...Item=7628599244
  15. I just sent the payment for a Blade Runner Rick Deckard blaster prop replica (445 U$S plus shipping). I could have it for less, but I had to hit the Buy It Now button. Those auctions kill my nerves. I know it's not quite anime-related, but it's by far the biggest amount of money I have spent on a single product in the geeks department. Can't wait to have it in my hands
  16. Hmm. Looks like Yamato is gonna make us buy an aftermarket Shogo later on.
  17. We should encourage this guy to mass produce his Garland
  18. So it's safe to assume that we'll never see this baby in stores. Too bad. As I said the bike mode proportions and overall accuracy is way better than Yamato's and Max Factory's is still months away. Thanks, guys. I'll follow this guy's progress.
  19. Maybe I should post this in the Garland By Yamato Tread, but since nobody there seems to know much about this toy and since it's not made by Yamato, I thought I draw a more "specialized" attention this way. The page is from some guy that is making a fully transformable Garland, and apparently his last update is from october 2005. I can tell that much. That and the fact that so far, his Garland is looking way better than Yamato's. I can't read japanese and I'd like to know if this is a toy or a garage kit or if it'll be released eventually or not. Any help from people that reads japanese or people who knows about this project will be much appreciated. Thanks! http://blue.ap.teacup.com/applet/mustang/m...te8/archive?b=5
  20. Thanks, TOtOrO. You're a good neighbor Good Lord! That's a nice Garland! I love the sculpt so far. Does anybody know who this guy is, or if that Garland will be for sale? I can't read a word of japanese yet.
