1. Thanks for the coments I was begining to think that this was a dead thread as only two members have replied. 423041 I don't post that often, but I'm very interested in the progress. It's a lot of fun and knowledge. Keep it up, man!
2. I voted for the 21. It's my favorite in all modes, it's alienish and dangerous looking. The 1/72 FP remains one of my favorite toys ever despite all its flaws. Of course I intend to buy the whole line if they get the VF-11 right this time
3. My Garland is holding fine, tho' I haven't had the time to transform it many times. I defitely will buy the upgraded shoulders if Yamato ever make them. The Garland is a beautiful toy and it just need better shoulder/bars to make it perfect.
4. Looks like the lower half of the wing roots help conceal the overall shape of the arm, no? Hey, Yamato, are you taking notes for my 21/22?
5. The Fokker is my fave too.
6. I couldn't build a model to save my life, but I love to collect pics of them and watch them for hours. I think the D-Stance is the most inspired valk model of all time. Come on, Yamato, you can do it. I for one, would buy every version and scheme available. In other words, I'll be your whore.
7. By the way, I just noticed on Dante's pic (not Dante's Peak), that the feet on the 0a seems to have a lock at the ankle, unlike the 0s (look at the clearance between the calves and the feet on both battroids). Hey Graham, can you confirm this? Is this an improvement over the 0s? Thankyou.
8. This print comes with the Hase Elintseeker? Maybe you should try the models section.
9. Wow! Those are nice pics. That was unnecesarily mean, man. Make me love my 0S even more tho'
10. Stop torturing yourselves. I can see lots of people around here like the 0A better. The Zero is not exactly cheap so if you have to buy one, buy the one you like. Being a completist is a drag.
11. Don't listen to them, Yamato! We want the Enigma. We'll buy multiples! Squadrons of them!
12. I guess I'm a battroid kind of guy and I'm very happy with it. Usually Yamato goes more for fighter mode, when a design compromise is needed. In this case, probably due to the fact that the Zero was designed in 3D in the first place, fighter mode is sleek and accurate and battroid mode doesn't suffer becuse of it. I think it is supposed to look squat. In fact it has a clever mechanism that allows it. Think of it as the Wolverine of valks
13. I'm a big fan of the 21. I'm still very happy with my 1/72 FP, one of my faves.
14. those pegs hold the legs in Fighter Mode. The connector they had on their proto was just a cup that held the entire crotch piece. And there was another piece on top that pressed down on it. Didn't look secure at all. 421651 Call me stubborn, but I've actually wondered sometimes if those pegs aren't blocking the legs to be pressed against the crotch all the way to better lock the arms in fighter mode, (causing those nasty gaps between the shoulder and the forearm). If the Beta is finally released and don't use them, maybe I'll just end up chopping them off
15. I'm not saying that the Beta WILL be released, but Toynami stated sometime ago that those two pegs in the crotch of the Alphas (that serve no pourpose whatsoever), are in fact to connect to a mock-up Beta they made when designing the Alphas. I believe this is true, but I seriously doubt it'll work on an actual Beta given how heavy the Alpha is. It doesn't mean Toynami couldn't come up with an extra support system, such an extra detachable piece to help them connect to each other.
16. The size of the box is probably the reason why Yamato did the wings too short, come to think of it
17. Thanks for the heads up, aaajin. What fixes are that?
18. I just got my 1S. I ordered it a long time ago. I love it. I was worried about the reports of broken tail fins tips and the loose elbows/knees, but the tips endured the long trip and the joints are okay, no complains. All the important markings are tampo printed, except for the front fuselage kite emblems, and the color of the plastic is perfect. I have a question tho': when transform from fighter, you're supposed to pull out the feet. Is there a lock like on the VF-1? Thanks.
19. Cool! Great work!
20. I'd love a DYRL SDF with detachable ARMD's
21. I can't see the pics, dunno why. Can somene please help? I really want to see this.
22. No. 419850 Nevermind, I've just read that the boxes are numbered
23. Sounds great, jenius. Keep us posted.
24. Hey gerwalk, Does it says "SDCC Exclusive" on the box?
