Yeah. Battloid always looked good to me, and with the ratcheted hips and the non-rubber fingers, I thing we'll be okay, but must of the issues that really bother me are in FIGHTER MODE! So I'm holding on these until we see some convincing Fighter Mode pics.

I don't mind the redesign. I'm always hungry for new designs, I'm not a purist. I wish it was a shooting game tho'. I wonder if we'll see any toys of it. Gashapons or whatever.

The 1/72 YF-21 FP is my favorite Yamato toy to date. I hope the 1/60 will become my new favorite.

My thoughts exactly. Let's say Yamato DOES care about us (tho I'm not in the US, but Mexico City), their main target are still the japanese consumers. To answer Konimon, I don't think HLJ has every piece for the VF-0 in stock just in case someone orders it for a custom.

Maybe Toynami should try their wings and make 1/100 VF-0s and so on. If the VF-1 look this good, the rest of the Macross transforming mecha should look even better since they're bigger. Besides I'm sick of high end Valks that I don't even dare to transform and cost a fortune. Edit: Grammar.

This must be the first VF-1 toy that comes with FPs on it's first release, wich is a good thing IMO. Still I'm going to skip these and wait for enemy mecha. Toynami has my buck for decent cheap fastpacked AND transforming VF-1's for now.

And I just e-mailed Tamim about cancel my Shin in favor of the 19 FP. This sucks. It's the third Yamato toy with breaking shoulders and I'm not counting each VF-0 variant.

The face sculpt is looking good. And it has saddlebags! I just wish the front of the bike didn't looked so chunky.

Hahaha! Looks like Toynami posed the Battloid Beta in "A" stance to hush the people that said it couldn't do it. That hip joint still looks wrong IMHO. Too weak even aesthetically. As for the coupling arm, looks like it won't fit in the Beta, wich means more accesories fliyng around like the sensor pod and the gun clip. The way the head flips down in battloid mode is very poor and looks bad. The stand is a great idea tho'.

The pic's color and light fuzziness suggested it was taken in a rainy day, it is possible to change that in Photoshop but it takes more time and besides space is boring, so I decided to search for a sky full of clouds. Not that a VF-1 with Strikes can't fly on atmospheric conditions. Maybe it just entered the atmosphere and it's about to detatch them?

Hey, everybody. It's good to be back! I did this the day Macrossworld went out. I was so dissapointed I couldn't show it off to you all that same day, but now that MW is back in business so am I . I didn't know where to post this and since I used one of wickedpr1nce's custom pics, I thought I'd post it here. (Now that I think of it, there's a fan art section, doesn't it?) The image hasn't the best of resolutions, but the pic and the background I found on Google were too small, so don't ask me for a bigger file for your desktop, sorry . Anyway, the idea was to have fun and I've been looking forward to do something like this for a while, so enjoy and thanks to wickedpr1nce for the pic.

I'm about to cancel my preorder with Tamim and order the YF-19 FP instead.

I feel for you, bro. I want an Ivanov more than anything but there's no way I'll preorder one given Yamato's QC issues trend. The Ivanov is the only version I'm interested in so I'll probably end up buying one despite the potencial flood of bad reports, but I can wait 'till prices drop. If it happens to be a good toy, then I'll be glad to pay full retailer price without a blink.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know how POM looks or feels like, but when I get the shoulder replacement for my Garland, they seemed the same exact shoulders to me (only with a sloppier paint job). I wonder if Yamato did changed the material of those. But as Eugimon suggests I'll wait and see before start ranting.

Oh man, this bike kills! I love the Tumbler, but I'm a bike guy, so I took a photo of it and made my own "Tumbler Bike" in Photoshop. But this Batpod blows it out of the water.
