I bet they will eventually. The transformation on all three Garlands is the same, so why not?- 1056 replies

Blade Runner: Final Cut
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Don't worry Js, I'm not complaining (with all the excitement, I probably miswrote "Blade Runner" when I did the search). I was just stating that I did made a search before starting a new thread. I laughed a lot at your closing post, by the way -
Blade Runner: Final Cut
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Ok, I searched for an existing thread about this with the search engine and didn't find it, so I started my own and got locked down Anyway, I posted a pic of the contents of all three versions there, so I thought I'd post it here as well I'll get the suitcase just for the little Spinner. -
The Megazone 23 Garland By Yamato Thread
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Renato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I ordered the military version, but is sittin' at Twinmoons waiting for my YF-19 FBP to arrive and be shipped togheter. Just like with the VF-0, I seriously doubt Yamato made new POM shoulders for this release: I ordered the replacement shoulders for my red Garland and despite some minor differences (like the single lock mechanism), the part seem to be made from the same brittle plastic as the original. I'll get an aftermarket figure in a second if they just made one. I don't get it, Yamato did and amazing job with Chirico Cuvie and know they behave like if they've never made a action figure before. Maybe we could get Kaiyodo to make some nice Revoltech ones- 1056 replies

Sorry, I don't have the source. I just got it from a friend of mine this morning. Normally I'll skip it (I'm a huge BR fan, but this Ultimate Collector's Editions are just made to make more money and usually never offer anything worthwile), but I don't own any Spinner toy and I love that design. Enjoy!

That's it! It's not a QC issue. It's a feature!

I don't mind another delay as long as they get the Beta right. I don't care much for the Aoshima Legiosses, but I do want at least a Beta for my Alphas. The hip joint of the Beta still worries me a lot and the "concelament" of the cockpit in soldier mode is a really poor design choice. I don't like the soldier's proportions either (CMs is way better), but I guess I'll have to live with that and display it in Bomber mode at all times.

San Diego Comic Con 2007
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Apollo Leader's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Damn that Hardy Daytona looks sweet. I have the cold cast one, but a toy is so hard to resist. Tifa looks cute too. -
Does this remind you of the YF-19?
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to GogDog's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Is that glue on the ankles? Looks like the toy is a floppy mess. You have to glue the hinges it to make it stand! -
Aoshima Variable 1/48 Legioss for 2007
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Save's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, I'd love some new hands for my 3 Alphas. I hope somebody around here picks up the glove, because that's the only part of the new Alpha I'd be interested in. Maybe he or she could add some missiles to those interested? -

WHOA! This totally kills! And here I was, willing to pay 200+ bucks for a FB YF-19. I'm cancelling my order immediatly and getting this instead! -
Aoshima Variable 1/48 Legioss for 2007
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Save's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That did it. No Aoshimas for me. The ratcheted hip and the extra missiles aren't enough to justify it. I was waiting for improvenments on fighter mode, but since they aren't any I'll just wait for the CMs version. -
Yeah, they should just let him die with dignity. Make him disappear from history in the middle of a conflict like Hugo Pratt did with his Corto Maltese in the Mexican Revolution.

Wave three The Hikkie VF-1S is now weathered to calm down the anger of those who bought the Comic Con exclusive 1S last year Edit: Oh yeah, there's also a Max man doll in Pilot suit already, but I'll let the man doll fans take care of that one in the appropriate thread

Aoshima Variable 1/48 Legioss for 2007
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Save's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I was waiting for somebody to bump this thread. Finally there's some news worth of doing it. Below a couple of pictures of the Toynami/Aoshima Legioss in fighter mode from the SDCC (Thanks to Mog for the link ). From the dull blue Legioss pic, it seems like the arm/shoulder gap and the arched back problem were solved, but the caramel blue Legioss shows all the typical fighter mode problems in all their glory. That's funny: weren't the caramel colored Legiosses the "fixed" ones? And how come the dull blue Legioss has no gaps and arched back? -

Thanks Mog, now let's bump the old Alpha thread -
A friend of mine (who loves to informed about this sort of things) told me that Karen Allen plays the mother of Indi's son. She's my favorite of all the female characters of the Indiana Jones trilogy, and I was told she still looks amazing, so I'll give it a shot, but "Raiders..." is the only movie of the trilogy I care about, so if I don't like it I'll just ignore it.

Yamato 1/60 YF-21 News & Pics
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
To make battroid mode be able to deploy the wings like in the scene were Isamu catches the 21 in the air with his VF-11. THAT will be a challenge for Yamato -
CM's Corporation Legioss/TREAD.
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Roger's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Thanks Jenius. Thts makes it the around the scale of the Beagle one, wich is odd. I wonder if it's the same toy. Maybe it's a CMs/Beagle partnership? -
San Diego Comic Con 2007
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Apollo Leader's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
No SDCC for me this year. Too much work and very little money for conventions right now, but I'm planning on getting a stand for next year's and bring my new book. Stay tuned I'm hoping to see some Toynami/Aoshima Legiosses in fighter mode, so let's the pic flow begin! -
Yamato 1/60 YF-21 News & Pics
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Damn, that mode looks tight. The detachable limbs feature is growing on me. If Yamato decides to go that way, maybe they make the intake shutters an accesory a la intake covers, or GBP side covers. Ah, the possibilities!
