Damn! Those legs are short. That Ingram reminded me of that old Valk with the huge canopy to fit the action figures. I don't mind the chubby looks of the torso, but it seems like Yamato couldn't afford legs big enough to go with it.

Thank you, guys. One more question: is the Peacemaker a fun toy to play (limbs falling aside), or is it better to leave it off as a nice display piece? I ask because I have so much fun with my Revo Brocken, but I'd be nice to get a bigger one with more accessories.
-
The Brocken is my fave. And this one comes with loads of extras, unlike the Revo one. I don't own any CM's Patlabor toys, so how tall are this one expected to be? Edit: This is a toy, right?

The illustration on the second link is from one of the Cross Section books, that are canon AFAIK. If I remember correctly that same book states that the Y-Wing needed some heavy maintenance, so the mechanics just decided to leave the outer panels off. I wonder why George Lucas felt that the factory version need to be redesigned. Maybe he just forgot that there was already an official version of it. -

Yeah, I wan't to see pics of the scape pod/mini fighter, or whatever it is. So every fighter is someone's exclusive now? That sucks for me. Since most of those stores don't exist here in Mexico (except for Walmart, of course), toy dealers this side of the Rio Grande charge and arm and a leg for them arguing that they're "exclusives". Edit: Found a nice gallery here. -

I'm with Scream Man. This new Millenium Falcon is reviving my old itch for SW toys. I might still not get the über expensive, never seen on screen, mold destroyed, only 10 produced, mail away exclusive, pink dotted Clone Specialist, but I'm so getting the whole ANH Millenium Falcon crew now. Maybe even some extra Storm Troopers to add drama Last year I had a talk with a friend of mine about how the MF got so behind on the current collector's tastes, and that Hasbro should do a new one from scratch, much bigger and detailed. We were daydreaming about a four piece Millenium Falcon playset, sold separately one piece at a time, each one featuring a key scenario of the movies: medical bay, cockpit, crew quarters, boarding ramp, gunner stations, etc. Once you have the four pieces, you put them all together to form a big a$$ MF (Millenium Falcon). but this one will do for now -

Did that guy said that the landing gear pops on and off? I dunno. I'd rather have retractable landing gear like the original toy had. The toy is very impressive nevertheless. I'd like to have a closer look of that "mini-fighter". For what I've seen so far it looks very similar to the Narcissus scape pod from Alien, that's cool. In any case I'm sure Hasbro could've used that space to add more movie accurate features for us grown up collectors (like retractable landing gear perhaps?). Hasbro seems to be still torn between the adult collectors and the little kids who don't give a damn about movie accuracy. Speaking of big a$$ Millenium Falcons, I don't know if this has been discussed yet (my apologies if it has). The Death Star Scape playset for the Hasbro figures by Attakus. Includes a big chunk of the MF at the 3 3/4" figures actual scale. Only 400 to be distributed worldwide. -
"Destroido" was on pourpose, but that'll do. Thanks Hurin
-
Agreed. The charm of a small scale line of transformable toys is its playability, but swapping parts is not fun at all.
-
Done and done If memory serves me, there was a pic of the Tomahawk's prototype showing removable shoulder missiles. I don't know about the little ones on the missile launcher pod tho'.

The Megazone 23 Garland By Yamato Thread
Lonely Soldier Boy replied to Renato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Bump! Wave has their Garland mass production model kit up for preorder. Scale is 1/32, non transformable and snap fit assembly. Very nice sculpt, just like their Proto Garland. The thing is I noticed how similar this is from the Proto Garland, (except from the whole shoulder assembly and some details here and there), so I'm hoping that Yamato releases the mass production next, only no glossy finish this time, please Yamato. I get it. Probably it's too much hassle to change the tires on a preexisting mold set, or too expensive since it's not exactly a QC issue. It's still a bummer tho'. The small tires bothered from the start. I couldn't identify just what was ruining the bike for me until the fist pics of the Yellow type appeared.
-
Here's the two types together. I think the tires are clearly different. Check out the Armor mode on both toys. What I don't understand is why the wheels on the blowsuperior are bigger. They look a hundred times better, so you'd think it's an improvement over the previous versions, but that doesn't explain why the second run have the original tires
-
Don't worry, I guess you have some time to save up money for it. If Yamato ever produces it, it won't be before they're done with all the other destroids IMO.
-
Done

Ok. So from now on, keep all the 1/60 Destroid discussions, developments, news and pics here. Here's a couple of pics from the old tread of the expected features of the upcoming Destroid Defender and Tomahawk, put together by Macrossworld member Bio. (Edit: Just realized I misspelled the topic title and subtitle, and apparently I can't modify it. Mods please correct it if you care).
-
Oooh, I get it. So those are supposed to be the features of the Defender. Nice! Good job, Bio. BTW >EXO<, since the Destroids are a officially a line now, maybe we should have a dedicated 1/60 Destroid topic.
-
Yup, those are the small tires allright. They look good in Armor mode, but in Ride mode are an eyesore. Will have to get three Yellows to salvage the wheels unless somebody thinks on recasting them for the community
-
Does anyone knows if the second run of the MH's Rey and Stig sport the improved Blowsuperior big wheels? When I first bought my Stig and Rey they got lost in the mail, so I'm thinking on buying them again along with Yellow.
-
Yeah, I've already downloaded some videos, but it looks painful. Guess I'll get the two seaters after all.
-
I already convinced myself that Yamato will use this canopy on all their two seaters. I'm just deciding if I can live with it or not.
-
We better make our minds quick on the destroid matter 'cause here comes the Defender Edit: How much would it be for shipping to the US if ordered from HLJ? I'm in Mexico City, but I just need an rough idea at this point.
-
Yeah, me too. At least I would've get a blue just out of curiosity.
-
Dude! That trigger works! That's insane! I wonder why we haven't seen the pilot yet. Maybe Yamato plans on selling it separately? I hope it's not a chunk of painted PVC, because after all the effort they've put in the gun, I'd be really pissed.
