The shoulders were not a problem at all - quickest and smoothest transform to battroid ever - so happy! The VF-4 is delicious - yes - can't wait to start tinkering -

I'd like to see a 1/60 Queadluun Rhea with decent and strong articulation, with greeble gimmicks - like the shoulder missile hubs being extendable to re-fill the missile silos - like in the old Rau DYRL sketch where it is docked.

Not yet! Been bogged down with actual work - no chance to transform it to fighter yet. The intakes still need a bit of whittlin' to fit exactly - unfortunately they look like they'll need to be glued at the rear/up top. The material is WSF+Polished - but is straight out of the box, no clean up or re-scribing the panel lines.

Some more pics of the VF-1 style hands; I forgot to mention on this thread - as I've been in the dedicated thread for it - but the VF-0C/D conversion kit (sans head unit) is now available in 2 flavours; With hard-points; http://www.shapeways...oductBox-search Without h-p; http://www.shapeways...oductBox-search And a few choice pics of said conversion kit (unpainted, unsanded - fresh from the box);

Basically as my 22 would never clip back perfectly and seemlessly into fighter mode - I'd just remove the legs. Then the leg's skinnyness also bothered me too - so i thought I'd make the shins or 'boots' detachable. In a nutshell - the shins and feet are wider, bigger a tad and have more curves than the original 1/60. It practically looks like it's wearing bell-bottoms. I'm going to use the GNU-Dou '21 sculpt as reference.

Cheers dude! Got one too! Bit miffed cause of the $20 hike, and nearly $200 after postage - but mainly because I was lucky to nab all the new '25s and the 171EX at initial release for initial early bird rates :S Shouldn't complain Good luck everyone!

Mods - can you change the thread title to 'Kurisama's Custom 1/60 Upgrades & Add-ons' please?

What are omega pants? Like I said, I'll have to see what I can and can't do once I have the VF-4 in hand.

Yep, and thigh-flap hard points and possibly new wings with hard points. The '22 needs secure rear wheels and maybe new gun pods? In any case she definitely needs new boots

Just wait and see whats coming Got a few plans for the VF-4 when it arrives and a few small things planned for the VF-22 also, before starting my next 'big' project.

Thanks Veef - not sure which section I'd post in there, lol - japanese robots or buy/sell/trade? Any ways, I have to finish of this head model and start prepping my next project before work starts winding up.

I guess the ass slap was too much.

There is also the VF-11 that was the test frame for the YF-19 wings AND also the '11 drone... :-D

Took some photos after cleaning up the plugs/joints - fits all well now except the intakes; they'll need to be tweaked some more and probably glued at the back :S All the articulation is working after some clean-up and shaving some plastic off the pegs - nothing too extreme - less is more Please note I still have not sanded the surface or re-scribeded the panel lines yet. Robodragon - I'm still tossing up between the VF-11/VF-0 armours.... and now I have delusions of an Elintseeker-type add-on for a VF-11 D: Also still umming and aarring about the new head unit for the D I've 3/4 built...
