    I only have three 11B's and one 11C that I customized - would love another 11C... Seeing it (11B) for $150-odd on HK, makes me wanna pull the trigger - BUT WHY DO I NEED ANOTHER ONE!?!? WHY AM I YELLING AT MYSELF!?!?

    Dude, get a VF-11B from HK, thank me later - utterly gorgeous valk in sculpth and transformation - elbows could use some better range and forward/backwards strength for the feet, but all in all - my most fave valk ever from Yamato.

    Small update, just needs a couple of coats of clear to seal in the decals and give it all the same sheen (green visor is currently drying separately with a high gloss, to be inserted as the final step); I've been at this stage for nearly a week and a half... too humid to spray the clear coats

    Claude - dude, thank you for that link. HRRRRRNNNG.... Just wow, and that is very affordable... And impressive. I'm going to hold out a year - bigger build size and greater accuracy are inevitable. And unfortunately, I am not part of a group - I am flying solo :-( sob sob sob. Scratch that, I'm part of the MW forums, and the support, advice and help I get from members here truly makes me feel part of a group. Honestly you guys are awesome.

    I'd love to do that, tundrayeti - but I'd have no idea where or how to start... Also what other companies do you recommend or suggest I look at? I'd love to make molds of my stuff!

    I thought you meant an entire YF-19 from scratch. I don't own YF-19, so I can't really comment on replacing components.

    A lot. You'd be better off using an existing VF-19 as the base and swapping out/replacing the necessary components. Even then it wouldn't be a true YF-19, more like a VF-19A, I guess.

    I don't want to say too much or jinx it - but I will say that all of my Macross Shapeways stuff has been test the waters of what I can do in regards to quality and design. I will say that my tetrajet seekers in develooment look bad-ass, as egotistical as it sounds. I want them to simultaneously fit in with the classics and pay enough homage to the originals without being a slave to the nearly 30 year old designs.

    But they're unnecessarily complex, not saying they have to be simple - but there has to be a happy medium. Bot mode proportions are hideously off. Structurally speaking too, looks too fragile. I think the bot mode was compromised too much for the sake of the alt mode. When it comes to TFs, I think the bot mode should be paramount, not the other way around.

    I'm right now trying to pry apart the screw hole cover - not budging for me dude. I have a bit of a back log of work, so if u can wait a few weeks (a month or two maybe), send me the pieces, and I'll make them for you. Not going to lie - I echo what yeti has said - the strongest material will not show awesome detail, and the other hi-detail material will not be that strong - plus it is a super tight fit on mine, meaning that if u paint it, it will scrape...
