It is difficult for me to tell if this 1/60 scale VF-11 is the right size -- with the display stand as a reference, this thing looks a good deal smaller than the -19 or -21, as it "should" be. -

I wonder if the oversized 1/72 scale VF-25 model landing gear can be modified to replace what is on the DX. Seriously, once I have my first DX in hand, I will look into the feasibility of modding 1/60 scale (version 1) Yamato VF-1 Valkyrie landing gear (or whatever aircraft landing gear I have in the old parts bucket). -

All are the Flexidisplay stands. These are very stable, as the base has considerable weight. These stands can hold the poses in my pictures indefinitely. The picture of the stand with a 1/48 Strike Valkyrie on top of a pint of beer shows how confident I am in them.

I noticed at least one online retailer listed the DX as a non-scale. -
I think the canopy shield may be a take-your-pick kind of thing.

Agreed. I wonder how unfriendly the Super Pack will be to the applied paint/decals on the VF-25.
