  1. But don't think for a second that all your work goes unappreciated!
  2. After looking at the 1/48 Kakizaki custom Gerwalk pose, I'd like to see what other poses I haven't thought of to display my valks. I'd also like to see how creative people can get with the 1/55s and 1/72 Macross Plus valks. As soon as I can borrow a digital camera, I'll gladly contribute.
  3. Here is an Elton John picture that serves the same purpose: I rather see this picture on the main page. I know variety is good, but a Macross II pic would have been easier to tolerate.
  4. Good idea!
  5. Not everyone wants a variable model kit to "play" with; variable kits mean more display options. As far as the YF-21 being a good one to "play" with. . .
  6. One screw holds each hip socket to the ball; remove the screw, and the two halves fall right apart.

    VF-11B

Some days I wish I had gotten the VF-11B FP instead of the YF-21 FP. Oh well, you have both, so enjoy!
  8. Wow! I didn't know the Gundam marker panel lines looked that good. The panel lines I've seen done with the Gundam markers always looked to thick for my tastes, but the panel lines on the "TV Max" look really good.
  9. Yeah! What you said!
  10. Nice! Where did you get the kit? I built a lot of Macross models when I was a kid, but all of them are gone. I'd like to find some of the same ones, now, so I can do a better job on them! Particularly, I'd like to find the Regult pods, male and female power armor, and officer pods.
  11. Very nice! I always like to see customs posted.
  12. Mine doesn't have any problems with the chest piece.
  13. I see there's lots of love for the 21 here. I'm somewhat less enthusiastic about mine. I'm glad there's a toy of the 21, but I wish Bandai would have made it, instead of Yamato. <-----ducks to avoid tomatos from MW audience Yamato had a great idea, just a not-so-great execution when it comes to transformation and general quality control. After all, mine was missing an essential part in the left leg. I'm still thinking maybe I should have got the VF-11 FP.
  14. Maybe there should be a pinned "pissing and moaning" thread or a dedicated "pissing and moaning" fourm. Then again, if one was created, the rest of Macrossworld might be dead from then on. Oh well, maybe it's not such a good idea after all.
  15. 1/100 http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=4849 EDIT: Low-Vis? So far all we've seen is the grey prototype... LOL! Dr. Clay is right; I was kidding. Hmmm. . . a low-vis VF-0 in 1/48, what a great idea (if I do say so myself)! Oh, and if Yamato were to make this, it should definitely be a "limited edition," although I'm unclear as to the meaning of this, it looks really neat on the box.
  16. These guys are still at it?! BTW, did anyone else hear that Yamato confirmed a low-vis 1/48 VF-0 with interchangeable nose cones? Oh and it's a "limited edition" too, but I'm not sure what that means.
  17. All kidding aside, I actually enjoy (a sick enjoyment mind you) reading the arguments on both sides of an issue, even if the argument is over a toy! However, I can see some getting really pissed when they post a question, and the thread goes umpteen pages full of mile-long quotes and arguments over arguably tangential topics. And, I still like my new forum idea.
  18. So are they going to reissue the 1/48 Low Viz or what?
  19. I'm serious, let these (and others) have an unmoderated "battle room" forum; it would help keep people's threads from being hijacked. I'd click on it often, but then again, I like Jerry Springer, so my sense of taste is highly dubious.
  20. I think you and Dr. Clay need your own forum.
  21. Maybe an unmoderated "battle room" forum would be a good idea. Instead of taking arguments to PMs, the people who like the drama can go and view the "complainers," "whiners," etc. duke it out.
  22. I think a simple, "you win; I lose," "you're smart; I'm stupid," "you're good-looking; I'm ugly" might appease Hurin. Oh, and don't forget to put feeling into it, like Happy Gilmore.
  23. If you really want a low-vis VF-1S, you could pick up a regular 1S and customize it (or have one of the talented members here customize it for you).
  24. More BIG toy fans! If Yamato does a 1/48 scale Mac + line, where would you put the 1/48 VF-0 if/when it comes out?
  25. I also bought one, knowing the risks. Mine had really loose ball-and-socket hip joints which I promply cut small pieces of electrical tape to apply to the ball part; the electrical tape cures and makes a rubbery seal inside the joint. The thing stands solid, now. Mine also had a part missing in one of the extending "shins." I had to fabricate my own part just to get the part to click into the down position. I like the thing, now.
