  1. May, huh? Good enough! I'm waiting eagerly on these two-seater conversion kits. A two-seater low-vis is what I want, but there's so many customization choices. Oh well, I guess I have time to think about it.

    CUstom Max 1A

    Very nice!
  3. I hate Macross 7 way more than the Macross II -- any day of the week! M7 fans, feel free to disagree, because I don't give a poo. As far as SK's involvement with M7, being a lont-time Macross fan, I'd have absolutely no hesitation in saying to him, face to face, "what the bloody hell were you thinking?" Yeah, I think this stirs the pot pretty good! edit: I did not use the word "poo"; just for the record.
  4. The guy charges so much that I would have ended up paying double if I wanted the screw holes and seams filled. Graham Graham, sorry you didn't get exactly what you wanted for the price you paid, but I think it looks pretty good. Since this thread is about the VF-17, where does the gunpod go/rest/mount in fighter mode (a question I've had for a while but never asked)? Any pics would be great. Well I don't know about the toy since i don't own one (so i assume its the same), but in the anime its gunpod is stored in its right leg. In Battroid mode, it is ejected from the right leg and the battroid catches it in midair. I didn't know that, cool. I supposed if I'd actually watch all the Macross 7 I have, I could have figured that out. The toy most definitely does not hold the gunpod in the leg, but I'd like to see a pic or screen shot, if anyone has one (and if it's not too much trouble). Thanks for the reply; now I don't feel so bad about not knowing what to do with the gun pod when my toy is in fighter mode.

  6. I like it!

    Global Unity

    Welcome. That's some collection!
  8. I've posted up, before, that I'd like to see a Yamato low-vis -1D (yeah, like that's going to happen). I'd be down for a -1D, so I could make my own.
  9. Sorry, no fighter mode pics.
  10. Here's some old pics. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/uploads/po...-1078638780.jpg
  11. I noticed. Excellent work.
  12. Damn! 24 pages worth! The pics rock, though.
  13. /Jamie Kennedy/ Don't be HATE'N! /Jamie Kennedy/
  14. I agree. Jumping on this person for posting a pic of something a lot of people have seen before is just stupid. I understand that there's a bandwidth issue, but there's just better ways of talking to a fellow enthusiast -- that's all. This takes Macrossworld bitching to a whole new level. If people are dissatisfied with other members' conduct, they should do the adult thing, and put a defamatory statement about them in their sig!
  15. You've done some great work! I can't wait to see the update pics.
  16. I want one of these for my collection! Nice job!
  17. This thread sucks. edit:
  18. Congrats!

    My First 1/48

Good choice on your first 1/48. Glad you're happy with it.
  20. So that Ghost Grey matches? Cool. I can paint the VF-1S head. I don't think it's an exact match; however, you might be able to get away with it by some strategic weathering.
  21. I like the green you decided to go with. One thing that always got me about Kakizaki's VF-1A is that it appears almost aqua in color in both my copies of DYRL as well as in the Macross 20th Anniversary DVD (in one of the video game trailers). The fast pack stickers are definitely green, though.
  22. Thanks for the reply. I guess, since the Revell kit can't even make an accurate "real life" F-14, I won't feel bad about putting some Macross decals on it. Sure, it won't be Shin's, but it could be one of his buddies.
  23. Good job. When Yamato doesn't make one, sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands.
  24. Can Revell's (yeah, I know the quality sucks) 1/48 scale "F-14D Super Tomcat" kit be modified to make a Shin -14D?
