  1. My 3rd reissue Roy does this, too. Tightening this thing up (in a non-ghetto way) means disassembling the cockpit/nosecone halves; the head is mounted to a shaft that is sandwiched between the halves. If you choose to take this apart, you might use the old fingernail polish trick to take up the slack in the shaft. I'd strongly suggest living with the floppyness.
  2. I felt the need to add to this thread.
  3. I have entirely too much fun when someone lends me a digital camera. I hope using the Yamato display stand with the gunpod doesn't hurt anything.
  4. Looks good! I especially like the mouth delete.
  5. Valkyrie-Exchange has the 1/48 Roy 3rd reissue as well as 1/48 Millia -1J. The prices are pretty reasonable, considering what some of the ebay people are trying to get.
  6. I'm sure these are going to end up in the customs gallery, but here's a couple more pics.
  7. Actually, to keep from offending Jung, the bottom one is mine.
  8. You live for these threads, don't you? Actually no, I live to celebrate my greatness, you know, like in the gym, or just standing next to a guy who is with his girlfirend, just so she can compare and cry.... HAHAHAHAHAAAAA... I only allow my greatness to be tainted with these M7 threads because I need to let the normal people know that its ok to llike SDFM and DYRL and hate M7. I, too work out at Globogym -- we're better and we know it. And, yes, it's OK to hate M7.
  9. Apparently, I missed the thread this one showed up in. I'm blown away by this one. Unfortunately I did not make this, nor do I own this one. This is Jung's handwork.
  10. You live for these threads, don't you?
  11. I just got my fifth 1/48 (thanks to Kevin at V-E), today, and thought to myself, "what am I thinking?" Now, after reading both Godzilla's and Kensei's posts, I don't feel I have a problem at all -- thanks guys!
  12. Thanks for the info. I just wanted to know who I'd be ripping off if I did a red tone version of this scheme, given the availability of the Millia 1/48.
  13. Thanks for the clear screen shot.
  14. My apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I didn't think it belonged in the "How to customize. . ." section, because I'm not discussing a how to. Anyway, I'm interested to know who gets credit for this awesome paint scheme that has been used on a few Macross toy customs.
  15. Cool. I thought maybe I was color blind to some degree.
  16. Kakizake's color in DYRL looks almost aqua or teal to me, but maybe it's just the copy I have. I've noticed that most of the modelers and toy customizers are using more a forest green color; I just want to know which one is more anime accurate. Any screen shots from DYRL would be most appreciated.
  17. This means, put me down for one kit, please. Thanks.
  18. I like the thickness, and I agree that they stand up to a LOT of handling (with a few coats of Future, of course). I'd definitely use these decals again.
  19. "Humble" or not, that's cool. I'm really digging that display case.
