1. Can someone back this up? I seem to recall the destroids (except the MACII) were all just about exactly the same height as the battloid valks. 411981 Here's a (not very good) shot from the TV series.
2. I think I'll call him mini-me.
3. Here's a 1/60 scale comparison. Gunpod envy anyone?
4. I hope Yamato can duplicate the color of the VF-0 CF. I really dig the color -- Ginger Ale.
5. For you Photoshop masters with too much time on your hands, maybe the background could be changed on this pic. This is the best pose I could manage to duplicate the spin move Roy puts on the SV-51 in Mac Zero, part 1.
6. I'm waiting to see what you (and the other resident customizers) do with a VF-0.
7. i'm not graham but i'll venture a guess and say they'll be plenty of these to go around. i think yamato has learned from their mistake when they released the 1A lowviz as a limited valk. just imagine how many more they could've sold if they didn't put 'limited version' on the box? d'oh! 410951 I wonder if the "popularity" of the low visibility VF-1A is due to the product itself or the limited numbers. Maybe Yamato should make some more just to see. 410955 after shelling out 400+ for a low viz, and if yamato re-released it, I think I'd have to kill some one. 410956 I overspent on a low-vis myself (not as much as you did ) but still overspent. Lots of beer and ebay = bad. Anyway, I really wouldn't mind if there were more released so more people could have them.

9. Amazing as usual! This is a very interesting scheme.
10. For those concerned about loose joints, I wouldn't worry too much.
11. The VF-0S is a beautiful, big bird. It is impressive even next to a 1/48 scale VF-1. I'm glad I got one with "tail spikes" intact and correctly placed magnets.
12. Also, a Wonder Woman pilot figure would be cool.
13. Well, since we're in wishful thinking land, I'd say go all the way with the F-14 similarity and do a two-seater.
14. That is very, very nice. And, painted with a rattle can! I'm impressed.
15. Here, I'm going to indulge in a bit of nitpicking. I'd be more receptive to these releases if they were called something different. For instance, the "Low Visibility Version 2" should have been called "Camoflage Color Scheme." Sure, camoflage is, by definition, low visibility, but "low visibility" is so closely associated with the gray scheme of the limited edition. I'd rather see "Low Visibility Version 2" on a -1J or -1S variant of the gray one. On a side note, a camoflage box would be pretty cool with this one. Also, I'm not a fan of "Stealth Type." I'd rather this have been called, for instance, "Ghost Scheme," "Shadow Scheme," "Special Operations Scheme," or whatever. When I look at this one, I don't think of a stealth fighter. Just my $.02.

OK. I'm not the only one. It's different, and I think it will look good on at least a couple of my Valkyries.
17. Nice job! I like the pics.
18. this is intresting because i'd considered having my low viz "touched up" by one of the more profesional guys around here, with some REALLY good model stickers, and some good light weathering/lines and general improvements. I never got any takers though, its intresting to seee someone else with a similar 'want' 366172 You and CdnShockwave should send a PM to Kurt.
19. Nicely done, Majestic!
20. I also like the dark blue Valkyrie from the one shot. It's on my "to do" list. Of course, that doesn't do any Macrossworlders any good, does it?
21. Thanks for the quick review. Yamato needs to fix the damn crooked skull problem. The only reason I'd get one of these reissues is to switch out the smudged-from-the-factory battroid chest plate paint on my original issue Hikaru -1S. I've had bad luck with my last two Yamato 1/48 scale Valkyrie purchases as far as paint and skull application.
22. I think going lighter than the Yamato Max blue is best as being accurate to any of the DYRL screen shots. From your description of Sail Blue, that camera flash must really lighten up things. Looks pretty good at any rate.
23. Looks good, ghostryder. I think the blue you used is lighter than what I went with -- more like the 1/60 scale blue (which goes well with your missile pods).
24. Although I don't have a 350Z, I have started my 1/1 scale Transformers collection. Actually, due to the cost, I'm going to have to stop with Wheeljack. I think I'll stick to Macross.
