  1. I am really late to this party -- darn real life/holidays and such. The new 1/60 scale VF-1 looks good to me (I'll buy them), but I do wish for the canopy to be reworked. If Yamato is going to do a first non-fast pack run, I hope we get the VF-1S Max early on, as this one was never shown equipped with a fast pack; also, we already have the DYRL Q-Rau, so a Max type -1S is a no-brainer.
  2. LOL! Miriya, those are great poses.
  3. What episode of SDFM did this "big W" you speak of appear in?
  4. Unlike some of us, Graham probably has a real life outside of the Macross hobby. This is just a possible explanation.
  5. Here's a place to start: A site that is pure Jenius I am not sure how to, in advance of purchase, to tell which version you will receive (unless you have some way of physically examining the toy out of the packaging). The old school way was to look for velcro tabs on the box flap, but those are very old versions.
  6. I don't recall ever seeing Wonder Woman's VF-1 as a built model kit.
  7. The decals with the color split will be a big help to those wanting to make a faithful variable fighter rendition.
  8. I'm still not wowed by these. Maybe the first member on here that gets one or both can post some quality pictures. I know member Swoosh's pictures of the SV-51 were way more flattering than the pre-release pictures.
  9. Aston Martin, and makers like it, are aiming for the upscale luxury sport crowd rather than the pure sports car crowd.
  10. It would seem Yamato has some wiggle room with regard to adjusting size/scale of the yet-to-be-announced 1/60 scale VF-11. There are at least a couple of scenes in Macross Plus where the VF-11B looks closer to the size of the YF-21 than it should, according to the size statistics we have available to us. I believe "anime magic" will yield us a good size 1/60 scale VF-11.
  11. That must be some good stuff to make one post up a couple of those pictures. I'll stick to drinking.
  12. Sounds like you've got a great start at both these hobbies -- cheers to you (see my avatar).
  13. That car would look great with a skull and pentagram on the hood. Of course, only the Tokyo Highway Battle/Tokyo Extreme Racer/Shutokou Battle fans will know what I'm talking about.
  14. With Yamato's VF-0 experience, I think this shouldn't be a problem.
  15. Sqidd and his squids have to go!
  16. Just to be clear, I have no plans to do this mod. The non-locking is not an issue for me.
  17. I think the VF-22 only has the internal gunpod storage.
  18. How about the rest of the car's driveline? Is there a warranty offered?
  19. The power seems pretty good for a car that size. Considering the regular Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice makes 177 (flywheel) horsepower. . .
  20. I'll definitely be checking this out. I've been a big fan of the Japanese highway battle games for the Dreamcast, PS2, and XBox 360. I never got to play the Initial D and Wangan Midnight arcade games though.
  21. Common speculation suggests Yamato will indulge in some scale-fudging with the yet-to-be-announced 1/60 scale VF-11.
  22. This is (illegal) freeway racing, correct?
  23. What!? Have you been sitting in your car, listening to your exhaust in the garage with the door closed?
  24. A little bit more on the typed-up-bitterness, and I'll feel better knowing things are normal around here.
