  1. I didn't switch the head and neck swivel so much as add them -- my buddy didn't give me a complete toy. I'm glad you found parts you need; Macrossworld is a great community.
  2. I may be stupid, but I'm not an idiot! I hope for the money you spent on those nice boxes that the seller included the actual toy. This is especially true if you paid a premium for mint and sealed boxes; if the toy wasn't still inside, then the box has been opened -- duh.
  3. Or, the title could have been Send in the Glaugs.
  4. I don't think the -19 seat is supposed to tilt back like the VF-1 "fancy" seat.
  5. Why? Uh-oh, I hope he didn't poop himself, again. Seriously, changing the pilot suit color was something I went back-and-forth on so many times that I gave up and stuck with the blue. I might change the pilot suit color when I get a red battroid visor that I'm happy with.
  6. Gee, that's quite a nice collection of boxes you have, misterryno; how much is the collection worth?
  7. Instead of focusing this on Yamato, I think it would be more of an effective offer of sorts to the actual seller.
  8. Or, go buy an LS3 Corvette and do heads/cam and your choice of supercharger.
  9. LMAO @ the KaleCoAuto products! I'm definitely getting those cross drilled brake lines.
  10. Creepy? What's creepy about a Valkyrie girl? It's not like there are any tentacles or anything. I think you're a bit (twin)screwed in the head.
  11. No. The Yamato stand holds the VF-1 Valkyrie from the bottom and cannot hold it from the top (of the fast pack).
  12. Actually, I didn't do anything to this except attach the Jetfire head and armor to the Hikaru Valkyrie. I haven't (yet) done any painting or whitening.
  13. Rum and feathers. . . I'm there!
  14. I don't have the hatred for the new Camaro that the GM-loving people I know do, but the first pic is not a flattering view for the car.
  15. Today is the first time I've viewed this thread; I had no idea what I was in for.
  16. In another thread, he stated he used Citidel brand matte black paint to cover the gold writing; a helpful tidbit of info for those wanting to do duplicate this. EDIT: After looking in the other thread, I now realize you already knew this.
  17. I like both of them. BTW, you can really reduce the paint chipping with many coats of Future and a flat coat.
  18. I just got the clip-on "heatshield" for this Frankenstein'd Hikarufire. It's not the coolest toy in the world and looks its age, but I like having it. A buddy gave me this original Bandai 1/55 scale Valkyrie (salvaged from his childhood) in this condition: Thanks to these members for hooking me up with parts: sh002 for the Jetfire Armor; glane21 for the Jetfire head and Bandai gunpod;and SILVERDRAGON for the clip-on "heatshield" (and Strike Armor which I hope to have time to prep/paint, soon).
  19. . . . unless SK decides to tweak the size a little, like in the case of the 1/72 (1/6x) scale VF-11.
  20. Are you really going to make a drift car? If so, the GTR isn't the best choice, unless you are going to convert to rear-drive. And, I hate the rear bumper on the body kit you posted pictures of; maybe a hybrid of that kit and another manufacturer's kit will look good.
  21. I like to add to my vote a CF with interchangeable -1A, -1J, and -1S battroid heads.
  22. Please take some progress pics between sanding and smoking. Also, regarding your comment about Future, you can brush Future on -- it is self-correcting.
  23. Added details are always a plus. . . in Eugimon's Omega Pants.
  24. I'm not getting rid of any of my 1/48 scale VF-1 Valkyries, but at the same time, I've always liked having smaller VF-1 Valkyries available; way back when the 1/55 was the only game in town, I still bought the smaller VF-1 offerings after owning the 1/55 scale ones. I'm probably in the minority, but getting smaller perfect transformation versions of the VF-1 is very exciting news for me.
