  1. The answer is yes -- namely the properly canted landing gear and straightened gunpod in fighter mode. If you can't find the FP version, I'd suggest finding (maybe a used one from a member here) a first-run and doing the minor, easy fixes. All the -19 stuff is here, by the way: -19 Fix/Modification thread
  2. Y'all are making me thirsty.
  3. I like to use Future brand floor finish before and after applying water-slide decals.
  4. The decal application process can be very frustrating -- here's my favorite part.
  5. This is good stuff.
  6. The Models forum has a large "What's lying on your workbench. . ." thread or two, so I thought one belonged in this section to include both the talented toy and model artists. Since no talented artists have had a chance to reply, I'll post pics of what I'm spending a Friday night doing. It's okay, because I have no life. Actually, that's not true; I just don't want to go out to do grown-up (i.e. boring) stuff. Anyway, I'd much rather hang out on MW acting like a nerdy juvenile. I've got this on my table:
  7. Meaning? You are in the Matrix, now? You don't want to fiddle with the nosecone too much, there's a risk of blinding yourself.
  8. If it won't stay up, you're probably playing with it too much.
  9. Wait, I thought the legs were supposed to come off for transformation -- this is a 1/60 scale toy, you know. Is this thing perfect transformation?
  10. The retro-style leg armor stays on pretty well.
  11. A reference pic: Again, the hinge is the critical part for the nose to stay up.
  12. A word of caution before you file this down: the nose stays up due to the black piece grabbing the hinge (see above pic); also, the post has to be long enough to go all the way through.
  13. Is this the part you are referring to?
  14. The canopy (and post) must be in for the nose to stay up.
  15. I can understand how the leg pieces fall off the battroid -- the magnets suck. However, I am not quite understanding how these same parts fall off the fighter, as they are held on by the wing roots and weak magnets. At first, I had trouble getting these parts secure, but then I figured out I didn't have the knee joints pushed in far enough; the wing root kept prying the armor parts from the leg, leaving a gap. I hope this is of some help.
  16. I thought I was being helpful.
  17. Are you and eriku having the problem in fighter or battroid mode?
  18. Member do not disturb(ist) likes that stuff, too.
  19. This isn't an issue for me as it is for others, like yourself. If you want to do something about it, then check the second post: YF-19 locking chest mod idea
  20. Somehow, I had this -- don't know how. edit: First post updated.
  21. If you can see this image, then Dante74 is smarter than me.
  22. I wouldn't know where to begin. Since I've admitted I'm inept at the internet, it follows that I'm inept when it comes to computers, too. The picture isn't so much important to me as the chance of the individual doing this project somehow finding our forums and posting an update, with lots of pics.
  23. Allegedly. It's a debate of sorts here on the forums.
  24. Or, "Damn it! The torso separated from the rest of the body! Piece of junk! Up yours, Graham. " LOL.
