  1. The pilot size is something I'm wondering about on the new/improved 1/60 scale VF-1. Take the pilot figure out of the 1/60 scale YF-19 or VF-0 and hold it next to the old 1/60 scale VF-1 canopy.
  2. That's probably her man holding the VF-25. He probably told her, "Baby, I've got not time for you, but you can play with the fold booster for my YF-19; it's in the top drawer, as always."
  3. For many of us, we're our own worst critics. Honestly, looking at many of the pics miriya posted of my stuff, I literally cringe. I'm almost embarrassed that I had the nerve to do close-up shots. These toys were done with a "I'll make it good enough to look at on my personal shelf" attitude, rather than "I'll go all out, all resources and free time be damned" attitude. I guess I could compare cleaning up my place to cleaning up my place, because company is coming. I hope my rambling makes some sense. edit: I've noticed many posts lately by members wanting to see some 1/55 scale stuff. I know you and your Chunky Monkey Mafia have some projects y'all could give us sneak peeks at. Bring on the pics.

    Valkyrie Girl

    I may bid on this.
  5. The cannon fodder might be repairable. I need to think on this, but there's probably a few members that are smarter than me with good ideas on how to fix this.
  6. Thanks, again, for the info. I'm going to try to head off any problems with my -0S by drowning the shoulder assembly, shoulder socket/rubber pad, and ball joint in acrylic. Hopefully, this will create a hardened barrier between the compounds that don't like each other.
  7. Thanks. Just to be clear, does the first-run VF-0S have the "bad bicep swivels," or is this just on the -0A?
  8. Forgive this question, which I'm sure has been answered a few times, but which parts of the VF-0 arm have the bad reaction with one another? Pictures would be great, if anyone has any.
  9. I managed to ruin this: I wasn't feeling that red decal, anyway. Time for a plan B.
  10. You, isamu dyson, and EXO have some cool stuff in the works. I can't wait to see more.
  11. What's going on in here? I'm sick of seeing my stuff already. Seriously, a couple of those projects don't look nearly as bad in person, especially that Flanker scheme one -- could my photography make that thing look any worse? Here's one more Sundowners that I have:
  12. The gray stripe won't look out of place when you see the rest of this bird -- there still a lot missing in the pics.
  13. A couple more views -- odd how looking at the subject live doesn't reveal half of the flaws/mistakes that pictures do. I see a couple of changes that need to be made already.
  14. OK. I've reached a stopping point for tonight (or this morning, I should say). Look, Yamato's 1/60 scale YF-21 isn't the only thing that can do delimiter mode.
  15. You knew I was working on this. More oil washing.
  16. People like your stuff. Congratulations on coming back from the dead, BTW.
  17. Making progress. Oh no! I knew I shouldn't have parked this thing on the street last night. Now it's got a right bit of the dinge_eez.
  18. Clean panel lines? See post number one in my thread.
  19. I have an airbrush, but I used a rattle can (so far) on this. The "tooth" on the Tamiya spray cans is fine enough for something as large as this thing, and I'm not going to do any pre-shading. Also, I used both Tamiya and Mr. Surfacer brand primers. For transforming toys, I like to use off-the-shelf colors as much as possible in the event I have to touch up places later on. edit: Painting sure is fun. It's even more fun when you get into too big a hurry and get to do unpainting.
  20. The legs are repainted. The decals are mostly Anasazi37's (a.k.a. Devon) -- I believe these are one of the last sets he did before his "retirement." Some minor decals are leftovers from various model kits. Also, I've had good luck with Robographics (Night Stalker's) decals.
  21. It's not as exciting as say, a 1/48 scale Thunder Hummers armor, but I actually have pictures of this thing.
  22. This one sounds familiar to me.
  23. I have no idea what these things are or what sci-fi they come from, but they look very interesting.
  24. I wish it were chicken legs (even Buffalo wings) on this plate instead of these; I'm hungry.
