  1. From a couple of pages back. Sigh. Would be nice to be able to buy these.
  2. Were they sealed with some kind of clear coat?
  3. I don't care; I'd like it if that Vulcan chick on the Enterprise show tried to break me in bed.
  4. Ah. I think the fat tip Sharpie (lots of ink) I used for the stripes, not panel lines, is a different deal. Again, the stripes on the wings, fuselage, and v-stabs were hit with a flat/clear -- shouldn't be any purple-ing. I'll let everyone know if the stripes change color.
  5. Panel lines? Are you talking about the super fine point sharpies?
  6. I've never had a problem with Sharpie'd black after a clear/flat coat has been applied. Of course I have only used Sharpie for very small stuff a total of two times.
  7. Didn't someone get this statement in a reply email from Toynami?
  8. Just say "NO" to "NO STEPs" on any variable fighter newer than the VF-0. Maybe a resident aircraft enthusiast or two will back me up on this.
  9. . . . depends on the woman.
  10. Not after a few drinks. I find it personally ironic that I haven't been drunk enough to bid on one of these ebay auctions. I fit in to the category of people, as member Nani?! points out, that uses cash to wipe with; however, I've wiped too much as of late.
  11. This is the deal-breaker for me. Thanks for the review. We've been warned. edit: evirus, you may or may not want to check out the shoulder peg/socket.
  12. More desk top fun. I'm surprised that there hasn't been more in this thread with these cheap things and Revoltechs.
  13. Here's a pic of my current lineup: Numbers on the caps: Tamiya "TS-80 Flat Clear" Testors "1260 Dullcote" Testors "1960 Flat Lacquer"
  14. So much to like. I, too, look forward to seeing more.
  15. Thanks for the kind words, but this one is no big deal. For this one, one needs to gather up all his/her artistic talents and set them aside, as they won't be needed. All one needs to make this are the items in the pic. In case anyone is wondering where the shiny Sharpie streaks are, the flat clear coat makes them disappear. Optional supplies for the boxing gloves: edit: One can substitute any beer or alcoholic beverage of one's choosing. Or, although I can't imagine doing so, one can skip the alcohol.
  16. Ah, ah, ah. My assembly line is bigger than could be captured in one pic. I am particularly proud of the weathing on the TV. Oh, and Golden Arms, these are allergy free, as long as you keep them in the boxes in which they are shipped.
  17. I'm being serious. Instead of paying a high price on ebay, just send your Valkyrie + $100 U.S. to me, and I'll do a custom weathering job by placing your item on my magic weathering table. All these are getting weathered as I type.
  18. All play aside, instead of spending $500 U.S. on one of these, one can simply buy a standard Roy -1S, sticker/decal it, then let it sit for a month without dusting; it'll look just as weathered, guaranteed.
  19. Yeah, I need a fast pack set for Millia (2045). edit: Thanks to Macross Mecha Manual for the color illustrations.
  20. To the fellow drunks on MW: if we need to form a support group, so that we don't buy one of these under the influence, then so be it. If you feel the need to bid while your vision is blurry, then post up here; someone will respond to your cry for help.
  21. Or worse. Just think, Graham could post up, stating he's going to give us a few sneak pics of the YF-21 he has, only to take blurry pictures of a wing tip and close-up shot of one of the tires.
  22. It is interesting to go back and read page 1 replies. This was the discussion in 2004.
  23. Same for me. I like this thing, as well. Pardon my drunkeness, but this is the one with the "Spartan Javelin" that comes off the robot's shins, right?
  24. Graham's reply in the 1/60 scale Tomahawk thread as to the VA-3M being the VF-X2 version has me smiling. However, I do feel the need to ask the obvious question, before I put away my paints -- can/will Yamato release a VF-X Ravens colored VF-19A?
