  1. . . . and to show that we like our Aussie members: here's an ad for Foster's -- Australian for beer. Seriously, that's the slogan that is pitched by this company where I live. Do any Aussies actually drink this stuff?
  2. Get drunk, snap a few, then get back to us. I like these, and I'm grateful to see any company making Mospeada stuff, but seriously, what is with the necks on these?
  3. This thread needs a Mospeada beer ad.
  4. Boddington's Pub Ale is good stuff, almost as good as Samuel L. Jackson beer.
  5. A7, that pic is so cool that I want to quote it.
  6. If I understand your questions correctly, then the answer is No. My comment about repainting was meant to emphasize that, at $50 a pop, I'd buy an extremely ugly VF-1. My take on the whole worth-it-or-not-worth-it subject is fairly neutral. If someone will pay a $1,000 for one of these, then that is that person's business; I am not going to praise or condemn him/her. I will also state that the only interest I have in the Valkyrie in question is its exclusivity, meaning I would pay a premium for it; however, the amount of that premium is another issue. I wouldn't take personal offense at those who say, "I wouldn't pay that." I truly believe that members who have made such statements are looking at it and asking themselves if the thrill of having this thing is worth some extra amount they would have to spend to have it. For members like myself, the $450 price range of the early ebay auctions is out of the question. As far as your question about my -19, I'm not sure what your question was, but I will discuss it in a PM.
  7. Just cancel and give me the $25. I'll post pics for you.
  8. This is the first time I've seen this one. I would have expected more gills from Saleen.
  9. Imageshack has worked well for me.
  10. There is a difference between being a collector and being a completist. Oh, and if any brand new 1/48 scale VF-1 were for sale for $50, you better believe I'd get it (and possibly repaint it).
  11. I think I'll wait to get a deal on this and the (in)famous Credit Card Valkyrie to save on shipping costs.
  12. Imagine how tough I would look with one of those mythical Beta/Tread things.
  13. My "Shadow" can hold its arm up, but I've never had it hold a firing pose for a long period of time. Although I've had this one for a while, it is still basically in brand new condition; it has only been transformed from fighter to soldier two times. As with any of these, you buy at your own risk, because the quality from toy to toy in this line varies so much.
  14. Horsepower figures are a funny thing. I'd like to see Hyundai make this boast, then get asked the question of where in the RPM range this horsepower comes on/is sustained. Of course the question of torque is something of a different matter. The turbo four interests me with regard to the strength of the factory engine internals; cranking up the boost may make this an interesting ride for those so inclined.
  15. OK, I'm only kidding. I'm a big Mospeada fan. I wish my Gakken Legioss weren't 190 miles away.
  16. This thread is such a rip-off. I've already contacted administrators to close this thread.
  17. I bow down to ruskiiVFaussie's organizational skills. If I were to try to put that many Valkyries in that small of space, the whole thing would topple like a line of domino's.
  18. I'll give it a try. Preferred by all kinds of drunk Fockers.
  19. I don't remember -- I am going to have to go back through my old Private Messages for that. I knew someone would ask this. I do believe that the member I got the standing 1/48 scale figure along with 1/48 scale pilots isn't making them anymore, much to my disappointment. edit: I searched through my PMs but couldn't find who I got the 1/48 scale DYRL pilot from. However, I can inform you that member Valk009 has made some brass DYRL pilots, but I am not sure if these are available as a standing pilot. Also, EXO was working on some 1/48 scale pilots, but I don't know if these ever came to be.
  20. Is the pic Beware of Blast posted from the last MW Con?
  21. Of course, thirsty Focker isn't afraid to take an even closer look.
  22. . . . the fearless Focker gets out to investigate.
