  1. I got to see a new Pontiac G8 GT on the road, beside me, a couple of days ago. It looks good, in person. The owner wasn't going gentle on the gas pedal.
  2. I can almost hear Graham's head hitting his keyboard while reading this.
  3. I've haven't been on MW for about a week due to a business trip, which allowed me visit my parents at their home. I found a box tucked away there which contained these goodies:
  4. The -1S head looks more tucked than usual, but other than this I don't see anything else that's obvious.
  5. Now that I think about it, Ivanov was raw, too. Think back to the scene where he rips into the carrier.
  6. Nice, but I picture Nora more than Ivanov doing such a thing.
  7. In my drunken state I notice the tip of the strike cannon and panel lining. Of course, I am going to be embarrassed if there's some big, obvious modification to this thing that I didn't catch.

    Thunder Hammer

What material is this thing made of?
  9. Whew! That's a relief. For the high prices these things are going to go for on ebay, I hope the weathering tastes good, too.

Here are the parts of EXO's post that are most concerning.
  11. Lead? Now you guys tell me. I especially like the flavor of the yellow paint chips off of my Yamato toys. The only worse news than this would be to learn the gumi-candy pilots that come with the 1/48 scale Hikaru -1S are bad for you.

This is obviously a figment of my imagination. I guess I should save these pics to my PC before this thread gets closed, the pics disappear, and you state, "What Thunder Hammer? I know not of what you speak." Is this going to be a 1 of 1, or will it be available for the rest of us?
  13. A little less gratitude and a little more contribution on your part would be great. Get your toys and your camera and get with it.
  14. That box looks like some robot toy from the 1980s -- I like it!
  15. But regular people would say, "It's just a car."
  16. Some member suggested doing a red one. I wonder who that was. http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...20&start=20
  17. Just reading this pisses me off. I also carefully choose my parking spots so as to avoid door dings, etc. A few months ago, I parked in a spot at my local grocery store which was way out, with no shopping carts in sight. When I returned to the parking lot, I see this guy load his car with groceries, then leave the cart near my car on this windy day; note, there was a cart return corral about 20 feet away. Long story short, I lost my cool, grabbed the cart and got in this guy's face. I yelled at him, with my fists clenched, and he, without a word the entire time, took the cart, placed it in the return corral, and then got in his car. Hopefully, I made a difference in the world for the better on that day.
  18. I'd paint to match, if this were mine. I know painting is added expense, but if you have to have mud flaps, the more blended in, the better. Be sure and post pics of your car when you get it all cleaned up.
  19. Make sure and do this pic again when the 1/60 scale perfect transformation Hikaru -1S comes out. Also, is your -19 going to stay as-is, or are you going to go the whole way with the Super Nova scheme?
  20. edit again: After some thought, I'm going to suggest not using Sharpie. My difficulty is that I cannot explain in words the way to not get the purple effect. I tried, in my last edit, "If you use a Sharpie to lightly put a dot within the confines of the small chip, you should be OK, but if you find yourself coloring in with a back-and-forth or circular motion, you can get a purple effect." However, I don't want someone to try it and be mad at me. With all that said, I like Micron pen, too.
  21. My point is, if I recall correctly, there is some line art that looks like what Yamato has put together as far as the legs go, so it is just a matter of preference, more than one of line art correctness. I hope I'm making sense at this point.
  22. Yamato's 1/72 scale YF-21 standing in Gerwalk mode without the aid of any adhesives, tape, glue, etc. -- another reason to drink. Also, it's another reason for getting excited about the 1/60 scale version.
  23. I'm going to disagree with the (too) skinny leg comments. I like this sculpt, and I'm not a fan of fat legs -- especially on the -21. Sure, there's big-leg line art out there, but come on. . .
  24. Nice. The good thing about black is you can use a Sharpie to touch up small chips.
  25. Wow! Those Ride Armor stunt pics are nice.
