  1. This is a deal-breaker for me. Thanks for sharing this info.
  2. Keep up the good work! There comes a point where one has to let go of the imperfections -- I still struggle with this and have to remind myself fixing everything isn't worth it in the majority of cases.
  3. Picture and article from stangnet.com. Return of the 5.0 Mustang GT
  4. I thought the AA would help in narrowing down what this VF-11 was inspired by. I need to check to see if I have VF-142 decals lying around. The more I mess with it, the more the 1/60 scale VF-11 is becoming one of my favorites. I want to buy more of these, although I'm not sure on the VF-11C.

    VF/X-36

I love the gunpod stow in fighter mode -- very original.
  6. As I did in the -19 threads, I'd like to cry for a VF-X Ravens color scheme for this one. Unwittingly, my personalized VF-11 has the same carrier/location code ("AA") as the VF-11 in the VF-X2 opening movie. Squadron identification (cough, cough David Hingtgen)?
  7. Sorry, but I don't have a Focker out-of-box (along with fast pack) -- these are old pics. Focker and I needed one of these this morning.
  8. Those look great!
  9. Happy new year to everyone! With a terrible hangover this morning/afternoon, I thought these pics pretty much sum up my night. Drunk Focker see something of interest. A closer investigation is needed. Drunk Focker has indeed hit the mother load.
  10. That is cool. I definitely recommend the movie, "The Final Countdown" for those who have ever wondered what the outcome of a dogfight between an Tomcat and a Zero would be.
  11. Very cool!
  12. Once again your knowledge of all things aircraft doesn't fail to amaze! I also have sets for VFA-94 and VFA-147 lying around. The orange one the VFA-81 decal set is the closest to the orange Yamato used. edit: I do realize the CAG designation on the v-stab isn't correct for the Sunliners.
  13. This is a waterslide decal set meant for the F-18 Hornet. About a year or so ago I grabbed several decal sets from a local hobby shop that went out of business.
  14. Getting the lower half of the canopy shield to stay up is the longest part of the transformation for me. Once I get it, it holds until I accidentally put my thumb on the shield when playing with. . . I mean displaying. . . it.
  15. I believe it's in the fine print on the user account agreement you accept when joining MW.
  16. Landing gear mis-assemble aside, I have to agree. Now to nitpick. . . The gunpod color wasn't doing much for me, so I changed it.
  17. Very cool! Some member's Christmas gift?
  18. I assume fight sequences between same scale combatants are OK with you (as long as the Macross variable fighter wins, of course). Of course, I admit to cooperative effort poses, too.
  19. Hurry up with the decals! Guld is in freefall!
  20. I know Santa Claus brought you some Macross goodies! Get out your camera, and show us the new stuff. Since I don't have a -21 in Macross Plus colors, I'll leave it to you to get those display stands rigged up to. . . you've transformed your VF-11 into Gerwalk, right?
  21. I am glad I am not the only one more interested in the VF-1 than the Fire Valkyrie. For the Macross 7 fans, I am glad this seemingly well done thing will be available.
  22. I'm the same way; however, seeing this pics of this thing has me about to buy it.
  23. I feel fortunate to have two birds on the dining table this Christmas.
  24. The 1/60 scale version does the bayonet lunge slightly better than the 1/72 scale version.
  25. I still love the 1/55 scale stuff! I hope Bandai will re-release the 1/55 Strike Valkyrie with (one of) the original box art. I have not purchased any of the "Origin of Valkyrie" offerings, but will most definitely pop for the Strike and perhaps a re-release of the GBP-1S gift set (again, with the box art that stirs up all the memories).
