  1. I like this one the most from your slide show.
  2. Nice shots of that -lined Zero.
  3. I like this one, too. Here I go with the VF-X schemes, again.
  4. Nice! Too bad I didn't know you were selling the flexi-displays. If you still have Yamato display stands, then you can still do some cool stuff. This pose has more appeal if you imagine some enemy with its face in the way of the -19's foot.
  5. ruskiiVFausii, those are some awesome poses! I'm glad none of the items have fallen. I need to buy another flexi-stand to alternate the pole lengths. I wish there were some available with 10" supports.
  6. No doubt! Where do I get an anti-gravity display? I'll buy it even if it does have feathers.
  7. Slowly drooping legs are better than a toppling $150 U.S. toy. Although, I will say that the -19 is pretty tough; mine has taken a number of spills.
  8. A flexi-stand could be used, but one would have to rely heavily on the -19's hips and foot positioning, which is not good for a prolonged display period. To be honest, I did use a flexi-stand for this one.
  9. I was looking forward to the Tomahawk from Yamato; this is a good surprise.
  10. As much as I like them, the Flexi-Stands do have the limitation of relying on the toy's/model's feet and leg joint tightness for some dynamic battroid poses. The Yamato stand supports the subject by a purpose-built clip that supports the body.
  11. There's a few areas on the -21 that could be problem areas; however, I'll know more when I get my hands on my first one. I'm not too worried for what I want to do -- after all, the -19 has a ton of these, yet my black -19 has held up rather well to lots of transformations and posing.
  12. My sentiments, exactly. I'm still hoping for the blue/white VFX Ravens scheme for the -19. As far as the -21 goes, I'm not going to wait for Yamato.
  13. ruskiiVFaussie is right, the stand in my pics has equal length supports. I'm proof that any idiot with one of these stands and a glass of beer can get a pretty nice display. I haven't yet explored the limits of the Yamato display stand, but I like it.
  14. It's the same custom stand I used for this pic:
  15. I've unpacked my custom display stand.
  16. For those who dread "breaking" the neck, I highly recommend member Dyno's recast hinge pieces. These hold perfectly and do not require excessive effort for transformation -- and there are no stress marks after many, many transformations.
  17. These schemes are stunning to me. If someone has good pictures of these, please post them for those who haven't played M3. Here's one of my Max/Miria favorites (where they remain flying canopy-to-canopy while killing everything in sight) and a Max in cockpit shot:
  18. I only know one person with a forced induction car that has tried running anything less than 91 octane -- not a smart guy, but his engine builder sure likes him.
  19. The much-maligned YF-19 gerwalk mode:
  20. Please give us some build-up pics for this thread. I think many will appreciate any disassembly/assembly/prep/paint guidance.
  21. Nice stuff, everyone. I look forward to the day I'll have a "collection" picture. The 1/60 YF-19 and fast pack are the only Macross items I have out of my moving boxes -- they were readily available to help me through my Macross toy/Macrossworld withdrawl.
  22. I'm going to use this "spray" my local speed shop installed to try to get rid of the pinging -- I've got a 10 lb. bottle of this "oxidizer" plumbed into the inlet tube just before the throttle body, so why not?
