V2 Milia. But now I'll just wait for the 1/35----it'll be cheaper!
-
Yup. I have ZERO desire for an M7 11C, not even at $100. But give me VFX-2! (I passed on the M+ 11B simply because I've owned that scheme several times before, and it's pretty bland---I need a more interesting-looking -11)

There's a TON of Devastators, but Poseidon is the only Piranacon. Easy choice IMHO. (Assuming you like Piranacon----he's far less popular, thus far fewer versions Abominus is also lower-tier popularity-wise, but above the Seacons! MMC's Abominus is only slightly past the rumor stage though. TFC could easily have an Abominus out before MMC does.- 9268 replies

VF-11's aren't even all that big or heavy, 3 should be fine.

Of course that's Graham's favorite-----it's the most VF-17S-ish head.

That YF-30 is *exactly* what I want from a VF-31A----mostly low-vis but with a nice "splash of color". -
I don't think there's any valk I want more than Mylene's. (Well, maybe a 0D in proper colors...) But for a "normal" VF-11------I would buy a VFX-2 in a second.

It's surprising how different the -262's battroid proportions are compared to the DX. (And the DX looks WAAAY better IMHO)

I've wished for years that they'd use black screws instead of chrome. Half the screws are "in the stripes" and would be invisible if black. But the chrome stands out. (Forearms too, not just legs)

They're starting to buy used, AFAIK. Airbus is doing fine---the A321 is selling so well and so fast, the new Mobile factory is pretty much doing othing but pumping out A321's for DL, AA, and jetBlue. (because you can't buy 757's any more, and they're getting old---the A321 is the closest thing you can get---NOT a 737-900ER, despite Boeing's marketing...) Even the A321Neo won't truly match a 757 though. -

Mirage is one of the series leads, it seems odd to relegate her valk to such a late release---but that does seem to be what they're doing. Especially with Arad so early on---sure he's got the "flashiest" scheme, but plot/character-wise, he's far less important than Mirage. (I'd argue against Messer as well, but his valk is heavily featured, even if his character is not).

As this seems to be a plot/dialogue-based ep, and not "heavy mecha action" like the last one---I'll wait for subs this time, for first vieiwing. Hopefully they come out as quickly as ep 6's did. (but again--with less action, it'll likely take a bit longer to do) Anyways---gg always seems first with subs, but now I'm seeing Doki-Chihiro as an option---are they notably different/better?- 240 replies

Whoops, sorry, brain fart.
-
Different wings, nose, and head "isn't much"? That's a lot by valk standards, when it's often ONLY the head.
-
Sand down the missile attachment tabs. (Round off the corners). They still hold on well, but they go on and off easier.
-
It helps that the armor sets are far less "color-matched" than the super parts, so there's not a whole lot that needs to be changed.

*ALMOST* comically huge? IMHO it pretty much ruins the entire team. It's too huge for Computron, much less Scattershot. They could have made it half as big, and it'd STILL make a ginormous bow for combined mode. Computron was never seen as an archer, he doesn't need/no one expects a longbow as big as he is. Half as big would still be the biggest ranged combiner weapon on the market I think. And it'd look SO much better for Scattershot's jet mode. And he could actually look ok with it in robot mode. Read/watch reviews of their Hades/Liokaiser figures, to get a sense of current TFC plastic quality.- 9268 replies

I'm a huge Tornado fan but never heard about any stealth mods. Any particular term to google? -
Noted, the ordnance should be fairly easy to do with CA. (I'm so picky about getting tailfins etc on perfectly straight, I'd need like 2-min CA to have enough working/adjusting time, which doesn't exist AFAIK) (though I'm that picky about weaponry too...) (probably should have CA'd the nozzles too, thinking about it)
