  1. This is a difference I'm unaware of, explain please. Also--the canards actually ARE different, it's not just the striping pattern making them look that way?
  2. I've gotta say---they're not using the increased size to increase the detail/"realness" at all. It simply looks like a large Yamato V.2 or something. As in, a 1/20 fighter jet should have much more refined leading edges, intake lips, wing-sweep gloves/gaps, etc. But I'm not seeing any of that there. Everything is "blunt" and unrefined. (and I'm not taking panel lines etc that'll be added later, I'm talking shapes/design)
  3. Ok, they can squat. But they really didn't do anything to improve the shape/proportions of the lion, or Voltron himself much for that matter. It's still homaging/based off the original toy too much, and not the show.
  4. I don't own that version of the mold, but I've *tried* to disassemble enough Frontier valks to confirm that yes, sadly, they are often held together more with glue than with screws. And it's a very good glue, that can rip the plastic apart before it'll let the seam go.
  5. MP Seekers will all stand a lot better/easier if the tailhook fairing was removed, like on the real thing. It's sad at the number of ways I've seen them try to get around it, ignoring what the real thing did, which is the easiest option of "snipping off the part causing a problem".
  6. I'm not seeing many new seeker molds. A whole lot of KO's of the MP molds, both tweaked and 100% copies, but almost no "new from scratch F-15 molds". Just "Howling Meteor" and that's only a silhouette, and based on the shilhouette I have my doubts as to it being an actual F-15.
  7. That too----I still can't quite figure out what the proportion issue IS, but it does look wrong to me. Simply literally not tall enough?
  8. On that note, I'm thinking about picking up the MG Tallgeese. But I'd have to paint the entire thing, which to me kinda negates half the point/fun of a Gundam kit. (because I demand TV colors---Tallgeese didn't have white boosters and yellow accents all over, nor was there any navy). The many TV-colors repaints look awesome, but makes for much more work. Tallgeese, vs Tallgoose: I'm kinda deciding between MG Tallgeese, Wing Zero Proto, and Epyon. Leaning towards Epyon.
  9. I'm amazed/impressed they got anything even at all resembling the FOC Nemesis design out of the WFC dino mode. Would prefer a much more city-ish/G1-ish "fortress" mode though. Not sure about the 3rd "different jet" mode. Would rather effort/parts have gone into better city mode.
  10. Is Wing Gundam like the smallest MG, of any "normal" suit? (not like a Ball or anything). I think I've built 1/144's that were bigger:
  11. Started working? They're nearly done: https://www.flickr.com/photos/95812560@N03/28312358206/sizes/l That's way beyond sample/prototype. That's molded in color. (markings appear to be decals though, so it still has a bit to do)
  12. So did the black series Revan come out or just no news lately? Googling just brings up stuff from a while ago. Also----any chance of actually getting it? I never ever saw the first Revan (nor Bastila).
  13. White flaps, but not rudders/spoilers. Hmmmm.
  14. Why is everyone missing the "cooling unit failure" line? It was like "1-3, and 8-10". I think one area had a heating failure, but another had a cooling failure. Mirage and Hayate seemed to be in an energy-intensive area, so it may be one of the naturally hotter parts of the ship.
  15. ::ok, I'm just going to give up trying to post now. Something's changed, and normal spoiler tags aren't working right for some reason.
  16. Hase decals are much better than they were years ago, but even back then, Hase decals never had the "screen door/dots" effect that Bandai ones have.
