  1. Yup. They're all like that.
  2. Plus---Bandai does tend to tweak each release. Look at the YF-29. The second one may be too early to get any improvements, but the third release should.
  3. Yes, but even brand-new F-15 molds, aren't licensed. That's the interesting thing.
  4. ???? Everything I've read said it's not mis-transformed. There's a lot of hope that it is, but analysis of the parts/hinges, and mostly importantly, Peaugh, who's handled it, says that's the way it is.
  5. Which is ironic, as altering the headlights and tailights is usually sufficient to AVOID the need to license a vehicle mode. RiD/2000 almost got away with Sideburn in the US. And of course, I've yet to see any F-15 TF be licensed, yet the F-22's are...
  6. I'm ok with Messer being next--the more -31's as a whole they sell, the lower the demand for each successive one---thus easier for me to get Mirage's.
  7. Titans Return Triggerhappy: He rocks. But the factory put his wing insignias on sideways. (they're aligned with the wing's trailing edge---which is against common sense/aesthetics, and against the box art and factory artwork diagrams) It's a fairly common issue, even some MP figures have "insignias aligned with the wrong edge". But with Triggerhappy's wings having a 45-degree sweep, they're REALLY off.
  8. Ok, need to check *everywhere* today it seems.
  9. F-104, Erusea, Osea, from the team behind AC5 and AC:Zero. And we all know what Erusea means:
  10. Anyone heard of Revan somewhere besides Gamestop? That's every sighting I know of in the US.
  11. Viggen simulator? Where's my SR-71 intercept mission? (though, actually need JA-37 for that)
  12. I liked Cars 1 a LOT. I hated Cars 2.
  13. The Triggerhappy/HotRod wave is out----but I haven't even seen a sample pic of the Takara versions. There's not morally that much of a gap. I'm a HUGE Truggerhappy fan, and the mold is great----but Hasbro of course used tons of that awful milky warm grey plastic. I need to see what Takara's version looks like.
  14. The V8 should be easy to do. The rest----maybe thin trim lines in the center, like this: Again----would be quick/easy, minimalist. Easy to re-do if mistakes are made, or touch-ups needed later.
  15. Got raised lettering/striping? Use a paint marker. Works amazingly well. Painting "areas" usually requires a ton of prep work on covers and are best left to pros or those who don't mind hours of sanding and prepping.
  16. Most 3P samples for reviewers don't include instructions, and are often not 100% tweaked tolerance/fit-wise yet, so it's easy to miss a step and not want to risk breaking something by experimenting. Especially when you have to pass it on to the next reviewer. Better to miss a step and post a follow up, then break it in half on-camera.
  17. Wait wait. They switched from Katy Perry to Demi Lovato? Are they just cycling through singers, paying no heed to consistency? ::edit:: Yeesh, almost all those voices are new. They recast the entire species.
  18. Repainted the worn-away lettering on my engine cover, and pinstriped the molded-in-but-unpainted stripes to match how the others were. (3800's had red accents, supercharged 3800's had red stripes---but the V8's have unpainted raised stripes????). The V8's even have factory red calipers----I guess the brakes used up all the "red accent paint budget"). So, here's my engine cover----basically stock lettering color combined with the striping color that all other versions have: (The lettering is silver, not white---just looks white on camera)
  19. I've already had to clean up the thread once, I'd prefer to not do it again.
