  1. The DM Exia was specifically listed as clearance, and the website said "$13.74" at my local store. It's among the most expensive ones that was indeed clearanced. (and why it's suddenly sold out everywhere)
  2. MG Dark Matter Exia was listed at my local one in stock, but it was gone when I got there. If I'd known a few days earlier I probably could have snagged it--I know they had it, I've held it in my hands a few times. Proto Zero I'd love to have, but it's listed as on-line only and you only get the clearacnce price in-store.
  3. That should simply be Milia's, and not 'Mirage use' in Milia's paint. ::edit:: Ah, it uses black instead of grey on many parts, that's why it looks so much better. And homages Milia's M7 VF-1 scheme in a way.
  4. Pretty much that. I couldn't even tell you how Delta ended, despite watching the last episode. It just kinda "stopped". If there were more episodes--would it have actually mattered?
  5. You could go with 1:48--- http://www.flyingmule.com/products/HM-HD2004 A 1/48 F-14 is a good bit larger than a DX -25.
  6. Bandai's own "final" shots are often of a hand-painted proto, with a few small added details that don't make it to final production. Until someone has it in hand, there is no way to be certain EXACTLY how it'll look.
  7. I'm leaning more towards Roid's as well and hope we get a DX of it. (Which I've termed Hathor, vs Keith's Anubis).
  8. Only the A-7F does. All in-service versions are fixed. I would like a perfectly end-on view of an A-7F like that. Regular A-7's don't even have what I would consider a nozzle--it's a pipe! But the fuselage itself is slightly oval. I wonder if the A-7F's was reprofiled to be circular, or if the movement of the petals is so relatively small that there are no clearance or heat issues. Took this pic myself, because every model gets it wrong and so few people believe me: Oval fuselage, round exhaust. (this is the A-7 at the Tico Warbird museum---highly recommended, as they have A-4/A-6/A-7/F-4/F-8/F-14/F-16/F-18/F-101/F-105, and are only like 1 mile from Kennedy Space Center)
  9. It's not. Unless books from the 80's are full of shopped pics and false info... Production A-7F's were to have F-16-style F100-220 engines, with full nozzles. But the protypes only got to fly like that a few times. Most of the time they still had "normal" A-7 rear fuselages. A-7F's would have rocked.
  10. I posted the pic I did, because a brief search didn't bring up any "true" configuration A-7F pics--with a fully-feathered nozzle. A longer search still doesn't bring up any. Was every single pic of the A-7F in that configuration scrubbed from the 'net? I may have to take a pic of a photo from a book... ::edit:: Finally--the OTHER A-7F:
  11. The A-6 looks neat from some angles. But the A-7 was fugly from all aspects right from the start. Amazing considering it came from the F-8. (If only the A-7F had went into production...)
  12. Mineral spirits are AKA white spirits, so maybe white oil is yet another name?
  13. A bit late to the discussion, but I gave away most of my 1/18 cars when I moved. Most were just Bburago/Ertl etc, nothing really valuable. Only kept one, my AutoArt blue Diablo SV. My first and only AA. (I've wanted a nice Countach for years, but I'm so picky about the Countach that neither the Kyosho nor AA has seemed right for me) I'd like an Aventador, especially white---but again, I'm picky---I don't want black wheels.
  14. Anyone like Classic Space? I think this Ideas set is great and has a decent shot of happening, but it needs more support/exposure: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/118501 Mini versions of some of the best sets. I had most of those back in the day. It'd be a great way to get some more astronaut figs (Blacktron!) and some very useful parts. And it also wouldn't be some $$$$ set like many are.
  15. https://mobile.twitter.com/lionforge/status/784590972604809217/photo/1 Combined mode has huge forearms, short legs and tiny feet. I've asked for better lion modes for years, but they seem to have completely ignored combined mode for it. I think much of the issues may come down to raw scale----it's like they got red/green vs blue/yellow backwards-----the arm-lions are supposed to be the smaller ones! Swap their sizes and I think it'd look a lot better.
  16. It's likely homaging a famous scheme of the real Draken:
  17. Well, that was the most boring Macross finale ever. Never before have I sat and watched "the final battle" valk manuevers, capital ships fighting, missile spam, and thought "meh". And like 90% of the battle scenes seemed to be re-renders of Frontier's battles. "We'll just swap the -25's for -31's and run it through again, nobody will notice!" And even worse, the scant few seconds of super-pack scenes we get, are mostly literally re-use from the other time we saw them. And even the non-battle scenes were just re-hashes. Giant glowing Ranka singling DYRL in front of Galaxy? Well now it's giant glowing Mikumo singing DYRL in front of whatever-they-call-it.
  18. New Grace art? New Grace art. http://www.silaszee.com/gracesuit.html
  19. The ones on the Su-37 were. They look like water-slides, but actually are a bit different. Do not attempt to trim excess decal film away, leave it be. Give it a wide berth, like you would a dry transfer. Apply like a normal water-slide, but do not use any setting solution. Let dry. Then, peel away the excess clear film much like you would a dry transfer.
  20. Ep 26 subs still aren't out, so I haven't watched it, so I'll post my Ep 25 thoughts: Basically---this series has done worse than "make me dislike it". It's made me simply not care. Disliking a show at least means you think about it, and have "concern" for it. I used to anxiously count the hours, waiting for new eps/subs. Played them the moment I could. Then it became "I'll watch it sometime today". Then "today or tomorrow". Then "sometime this week". Until now, at Ep 25---I only just got around to watching it because I knew otherwise I'd likely be spoiled by Ep 26/finale talk around the forum. Frontier was the exact opposite---I got more and more involved as time went on, despite kinda "ignoring it" early on. The anticipation/hype for the final few eps was insane. Good times at the forum. Just could not wait for the end. Whereas with Delta---I'm just waiting for it TO end. Big difference. Because the sooner it ends, the sooner they can work on something else/better. But I really don't care *how* it ends, and that's a shame, that a Macross series has un-impressed me so much that I feel that way. Sigh---despite me having initial misgivings about the character, it's ironic that there's been so little development with the others, that the most interesting person has been dead for half the series...
  21. Well yes. It won't be available "other ways" until after the "main" showing.
  22. It's already up on DisneyXD's site, just watched it. Quick spoiler-free opinion: It's mainly just setting up a whole lot of other things I think. A few good moments, but don't expect anything as awesome as the Season 2 finale.
