Wait wait. They switched from Katy Perry to Demi Lovato? Are they just cycling through singers, paying no heed to consistency? ::edit:: Yeesh, almost all those voices are new. They recast the entire species.

I much preferred "Voodoo" for an MP Ratchet. Heck, I still may prefer it to Takara's.- 9151 replies

The MW Automotive Thread 5.0 GT

Repainted the worn-away lettering on my engine cover, and pinstriped the molded-in-but-unpainted stripes to match how the others were. (3800's had red accents, supercharged 3800's had red stripes---but the V8's have unpainted raised stripes????). The V8's even have factory red calipers----I guess the brakes used up all the "red accent paint budget"). So, here's my engine cover----basically stock lettering color combined with the striping color that all other versions have: (The lettering is silver, not white---just looks white on camera) -

I've already had to clean up the thread once, I'd prefer to not do it again. -
Because there's already many of the other ones out/announced/coming? Yeesh, you'd think Frontier only had two characters in the whole show based on the figures they released.

Regardless of all other things, Trump's a Boeing guy, and I have a hard time believing AF1 would ever be an Airbus. -
Not a Jenius, either.

I wouldn't use raw acetone, but would certainly try acetone-based nail polish remover. Don't soak the blob----apply remover to a q-tip. Soak q-tip, remove the excess----more than damp, but not wet. Swab/rub over glue. Repeat. It'll take a while, but should work, with no damage to the plastic. Now, the little black stencil wording is almost certain to be removed in the process unless you mask I it and are hyper-careful with where you swab---but IMHO that's a small price to pay to get rid of the blob. (And the black sensor area is likely to lose some paint---but since it's recessed and black, that bit should be easy to repaint and look factory-fresh).

The Hasegawa kits also match Yamato/Arcadia.

More like from most angles, the alt-mode looks like that. Same problem every YF-19 ever has had, only worse.- 9151 replies

Mirage.

Yup. This also means the knee-pads will never sit quite flush in fighter mode.

I might have to buy a "Miriya" if done well.

While we're talking YF-29's---can someone have a look at the base of the barrels, when the (tornado)guns are fully extended? I swear the left and right are sculpted differently---there's multiple "rings" on the right, only a single "ring" on the left. (hard to explain, will try to take a pic tomorrow). Also, Ozma's is losing paint left and right. It's not that easy to tell, as the dark bronze paint is over dark grey plastic, but the guns are losing some of their bronze paint---both the backpack ones and the "wrist" ones. (lost some paint on a foot like the first day, which is especially common on Ozma's) PS--anyone ever managed to open open up the tornado cannon pack? I suspect mine could use some tweaking, both for barrel alignment and joint stiffness-wise. But it looks like it's glued together, and couldn't be opened without destroying it.

Anyone know how much shipping to the US is, for N-Y vs BigInJapan? (Thinking about preordering Milia)

I liked Ex-Machina more. This became much more drama than Sci-Fi in the second half.

Yes, but when you get to 1000 votes, they give you more time and exposure to get to 10,000. No one "just goes straight to 10,000". You first get like 100, and that grants you more time to hit 1000. Then you get another extension from that, etc. So, if he can get 144 votes in the next 18 days, he'll get like another couple months (year?) to get up to 10,000. And he'll be "featured" on the site as a "likely potential" or whatever, which'll help get to 10,000.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in theaters Dec. 16, 2016
David Hingtgen replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Every Intl trailer is slightly different. One of them clearly shows Blue Leader, diving from above. (unlike the group who did TFA, Rogue One's team seems to understand how the markings on an X-Wing work) -

The MW Automotive Thread 5.0 GT
David Hingtgen replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
If I'd known the Commodore was coming to the US as the G8, I'd have probably waited for it. There was a time the G8's were just sitting on lots with huge discounts---I seriously even considered trading my car in when it was 1 year old----would have made little difference payment-wise (only roughly calculated, never seriously did the math). I should have, as the G8/Commodore is a better car, and it held its value SO much better. That car went for 90% of sticker price even when several years old. Of course, I almost NEVER see G8's in the snow, they may not be much of a year-round car here. -

Just like that, asides from color. (While there are many small differences, the front end is the biggest and best one---the nose of the V8 version looks SO much better than the V6 version IMHO). It's ALL different up front. The only parts shared between the V6 and V8 in front of the windshield, are the headlights and hood. Fenders, sub-frame, radiator mount/system, brake system, engine mounts, bumper, intake, grilles, fogs, A/C, suspension----all are V8-specific.Due to the aluminum subframe and aluminum engine, compared to the steel subframe and engine of the V6, the V8 version is actually lighter up front and thus has better weight distribution.
