  1. My bank ALWAYS blocks HLJ. Have to call every time lately. Even though I've had them note it to allow HLJ, and Japan. Still gets blocked. It's not the credit card company, it's not HLJ, it's not PayPal. It's the bank that issued the credit card.
  2. Googling that lead me to this: Now THAT's a helicopter!
  3. More identification chart fun: (Falcon's tailplanes are wrong though)
  4. Edited title. They look close to the F-14B/D hybrid that Shin flew. But definitely not an F-14A.
  5. Just give me Thundercracker in his G1 toy colors. That's all I want. None of this half-assed "in-between toy and toon" blue.
  6. It's a tough time for us Jenius fans: Milia's---too pink! Mirage's---not pink enough!
  7. The main color also looked better than the more recent sample pics...
  8. That's my worry. Simply being near red parts, will catch some reflection.
  9. I have the same main problem with this one as the last one: I didn't see anything TRANSFORM. If they never transform, then they're just big robots...
  10. Yamato/Arcadia, match Hasegawa: (except for the red-tipped RMS missiles, which I'd love to have...)
  11. Mike---Exgraver was the first of Hercules. I think he was first by several months. I know the last two were released simultaneously. (Mixmaster and Bonecrusher I think). So the absence of Reprolabels on that one is odd. Exgraver does have a fairly serious issue with his scoop--later figures came with replacements (I think Long Haul had it). If you take a closeup of the base of the arm (where it attaches/pivots around the main body of the vehicle) I can see if yours is replaced/upgraded. Edit---here ya go:
  12. Yeah--considering "dull grey" was the final finish---why not just mold it in that color, and gain that critical 0.02in of clearance all around? Would likely alleviate a good number of issues.
  13. Interesting that the packaging has built-in space around the barrel tip, as if they expect someone to put something there...
  14. That works well for Macross, but it's a 'shop of this one: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/YqNn6
  15. Thought: the VF-0D looked spot-on in the promo pics, but was totally wrong in final production. Maybe the VF-31C will be the opposite... Sigh, I still want a valk that looks like this:
  16. It's simply one hour too late for me. I could swing 1AM local and go straight to bed at 1:01 when it's sold out. But 2AM is a no-go. I'll just F5 HLJ for the next 3 months...
  17. They're two different things. However they have nigh-identical sculpts, so they look the same in pics. The diecast one isn't out yet, and is smaller.
  18. Just like the VF-31 never fights in battroid either. Perfectly matched, those two are...
  19. Mirage's unique coloring was one of the few good aspects. (Plus, my flightsuit Mirage figure just arrived---and her valk should match it).
  20. In the (presumably) professionally lot and taken photos, it still looks awfully reddish. I note that the molded plastic parts are darker and more purple than the paint---not as good a match as Bandai did for Hayate's. The plastic parts look about the right color. But there's SO much paint on the Delta valks, there's more paint than raw plastic. And since the paint is a bit off....
  21. But it simply shouldn't be "so close to red that it only looks sorta ok in some lighting". This is not anywhere near pure red: Surely the Japanese fans are commenting on the color???
