  1. Got my new taillights in a few days ago, but it was 100% overcast so they don't "sparkle" like they normally do. This is about the best angle. (my front splashguards are on too, but hard to see from this angle against the black tires) And I'll have to wait until spring provides better lighting to get really good pics.
  2. I'd suggest you not use the backpack clip in the future. It's not needed at all, and only results in scratching the paint off the tailfins.
  3. The thing is, you can't (and don't have to) improve EVERYTHING. Hypothesis: VF-25 is faster, better weapons, better radar, stealthier, longer-ranged, easier to fly, easier to maintain, easier to build (and thus easier to supply the colony fleets)---BUT is a bit less agile than the VF-19S. Is it a better plane? How many things will you trade agility for? Just because something is newer/better, doesn't mean it's going to surpass everything in every way. Look at the F-22--it is not the fastest, not the longest-ranged, not the highest payload fighter of all time. Yet it's still considered the uber-fighter due to being so good in other areas. And look at the F-35. Slowest US fighter in 30 (or maybe even 40) years. Less agile than a 30-year-old F-16A. Pretty sad payload and range IMHo. Yet still considered overall better than anything but the F-22 (and maybe Super Flanker) due to its stealth, radar, and datalinks.
  4. Yeesh, full details of current production (or lack thereof) on the first five 787s: http://www.flightglobal.com/blogs/flightbl...ction-froz.html
  5. Sv-51 is the "review-less valk" at MW.
  6. Hmmn. I did pretty close to that--brush-painted Tamiya clear green with a small brush, but I used Tamiya *marker* silver paint (the shiniest silver money can buy--learned that from Wm Cheng) and applied it directly to the back of the green paint. I'll photograph mine later and see how it compares to yours.
  7. How'd you paint the visor? It's "lighter" than most I've seen. I'm kinda disappointed how mine turned out---the amount of clear green needed to make it non-streaky made it pretty dark, even after I coated the back with chrome. (I really didn't feel like airbrushing a single piece, but maybe I should have with how goopy clear green is) PS--kudos for painting the chin, most people miss that (even Bandai!)
  8. For an actual name-brand Transformerâ„¢, I'd have to vote for Machine Wars Starscream.
  9. I've only decaled a few bits, but I have this to say: Decals are better than those in most kits, but not equal to the best kit decals or aftermarket. Many decals are "too small" IMHO, notably on the ventral fins. There are many areas where they will not cover the areas they are clearly intended too. (But I don't think the stickers are any better in that regard).
  10. Yup, definitely needed to be posted here. (and I just voted). Really, all 3 are good, I'd buy any of them immediately.
  11. F-22 doing a 12.8G+ turn: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=bgaOrCYb7b0&fmt=18
  12. The original Hornet scheme did have gold. They copied it quite closely. One or two of the first F-15's had a similar scheme lacking the gold.
  13. I haven't done it but I do read the Bioware forums every day. ME on the HDD won't totally change the game. It will help some, but don't expect the elevators to move ANY faster... (mainly, it'll only eliminate the occasional 'loading' pause when running from place to place) Most of the issues seem to be the engine itself---it just can't handle that many textures or something. (I swear it was designed only for FPS in desolate apocalpytic games, where they only need 4 textures---brown stuff, grey stuff, player, and alien bug)
  14. YF-19. For Max, wait for the new V.2 1/60.
  15. Just making sure everyone's aware of the RetroHornet (it's 30 now, believe it or not) http://s288.photobucket.com/albums/ll171/j...Hornet/?start=0
  16. I'm iffy on Last Remnant--looks good, but every video I've seen has tremendous slow-down, enough to turn me off from the game. And I think it's raw engine/hardware horsepower issues, not loading (based on the Youtube comparison video). Maybe the PS3 version will do better.
  17. I'm still waiting for some really good pics that really show exactly what color of blue he is and how metallic. And how he looks all stickered up.
  18. The likelihood of damage to my car by parking at the mall on Black Friday overwhelms any sense of "it's on sale!".
  19. That's Roy's secret---alcohol-fueled valks get more thrust.
  20. Great, but I still can't make Grace. Severe lack of basic office/secretary/business clothes for women. (same complaint I have for SC4 and even SC3---a basic normal skirt is nowhere to be found, when like half of all anime chicks need that) (and I could make a better Scully, too) PS--I really hate "hidden" junk like that. MS seems fond of it---do they enjoy people complaining?
  21. PG Wing Zero actually has simpler wings with fewer moving parts, and less "useful" articulation than MG Zero. A lot of PG's articulation points are like 5 degrees and only add to the parts count rather than posability. And mainly--PG's wings are incredibly heavy due to having so much metal and rubber, and makes it incredibly top-heavy, countering much of the articulation since you have to lock down the screws to prevent it from falling over, and you can only position the wings as "back support".
  22. Honestly, Devastator could be the hardest to do, since half his parts "come out of thin air". Menasor may work well, as you can have a lot of stuff inside Motormaster's trailer. (all depends on if they go for "cars ARE limbs" or "cars ON limbs" style for him)
