Correct, G1 Galvatron's toy was a better "pistol" than "cannon".

Except, frankly---his alt mode sucks. Yeah, I know, I know, most people buy MPs for the robot mode--but I don't! Due to the simple transformation you could probably engineer the legs and arms to make better treads than the G1 toy, but it still looks like some weird tripod-thing.

Any chance anyone here has Ico, and would be willing to "rent" it to me? It's nigh-impossible to find now, and I really don't want to pay $$$$$ just to play it once.

Half the reason I'm getting Tekken 6 is that it seems to have the elaborate create-a-fighter that SC 4 lacked. (SC 3 had bettter options IMHO).

Apparently, a lot of people just walked into Papajohn's and asked for a coupon and got it. (I actually ordered a pizza a bit ago without knowing about the coupon, but of course kept it when I got it) Anyways, I just watched a few chunks of it and here's what I noticed for "IMAX": The entire forest battle is full-screen. There's a 1 second extra scene of Starscream, and I think Megs and not-Blackout get extra scenes too. Possibly an extra second of Prime climbing up onto not-Blackout to rip open his face. Most of Devastator is full-screen. There's a 1 second extra scene of the "7th Constructicon" driving up. (the one that the legends-mini-Dev has that the $100 one doesn't). 1 second extra of Skids climbing up onto Dev's arm.

I fiddled with the DA:O creator a bit, but didn't really try for a good face, etc. Will do so when I'm feeling better. Haven't decided yet if likenesses are possible, or simply "attractive".

And even cheaper if you use the Papajohn's coupon. At Blu-Ray.com the vote is like 85% for getting the Wal-Mart version. It's the cheapest, and has more raw footage. Who would choose a plastic Bumblebee case over that?

A bit OT, but IIRC Super SF2 Turbo was a notably heavier cartridge than SF2.

"High-end" SNES games cost more. You could tell by weight. More weight=more chips=more RAM. (Nintendo controlled/produced every part, so there were never any "refinements"). Chrono Trigger was possibly the most expensive of that category, $80 IIRC. Megaman X2 and X3 might have cost more than standard as well, due to being among the few with their chip/feature (can't remember the name, but they are among the few that use the 2 small slots aside the main slot---go look at the cartridge, they're pretty unique among SNES games).

Like many teen fighters, the F-16 can technically supercruise when clean and light. But nothing but an ATF is in the 1.3+ "worth mentioning" supercruise. Because seriously, 0.95 vs 1.02 are effectively meaningless. But if you've got .3+ over somebody, that's something. I seriously doubt the new thing even hits 1.1 ::reads article:: 32,000lbs of thrust? Heck, late model Vipers have that already. And you want to add all that extra junk to it? M1.05 is optimistic....

You might want to mention that the Ensign Jack Ernie story is total BS. (But it's so famous and so oft-told that most people and websites think it's true) Are those markings final? Missiles seem lacking in paint apps, considering the scale. Sparrows especially, most 1/144 ones are much more detailed.
