  1. Reading deep into the lines coupled with the foreshadowing---I see that as saying Gendo ordered Touji's sister to be killed, to make her soul available for EVA-03.
  2. Seems to have the same small shoulder armor as the model kit. Inherent issue with translating the design to real-world physics?
  3. Ehh, more like 2013/2014, and don't be surprised for 2015. (I think the current UK and Australian armed forces plans are expecting 2015)
  4. 2 head units? I don't recall seeing a variation. Presumably one of them is Grace's---though I don't recall ever seeing hers in battroid mode. Or really, seeing any of the green ones in battroid mode.
  5. The F-20 would certainly have been able to use the same dual-AMRAAM and dual-Sidewinder launchers as the Hornet. It's actually compatible with nearly all Hornet racks/rails.
  6. ??? When/where is there any evidence of thought control in the -22?
  7. 787 passed its 100% static load test. However, several airliners have failed their initial 150% load test, so that remains to be seen. 787 and 747-800 still looking possible to have simultaneous first flights Dec 22.
  8. BTW, if anyone has an old/loose/broken Asajj Ventress (most any style) I'm interested in acquiring it for parts for customs etc. Or if you find one at K-Mart's current "buy 1 get 1 free" SW figure sale...
  9. I may pass on a green VF-27 kit, and buy a DX -27. Looks much better than the DX -25, and I'm still not happy with the model -25 (it looks so much better, but it still wants to come apart at every seam and just isn't up to the rigors of more than about 2 transformations)
  10. The VF-22 has more than just the head different---that's why it's a VF-22, and not a VF-21. Canopy is quite different, belly plates have deep angled extensions and missile launchers. Also it's flown like any other valk, it's not thought-flown.
  11. Piccy no worky. (unless you cut-n-paste)
  12. I do it for TF toys too. BB on the top rack, with the entire bottom row being Chromias? I rectify that.
  13. Best Space Shuttle landing footage ever---you rarely get to actually see it "fly". http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=835_1259341193
  14. Went out tonight and found several, so I got to pick the best one. Also found the re-released normal one, but I like the spacesuit one's head better. BTW---am I the only one who puts popular figures on the lower pegs up front so kids can more easily find them? Because frankly a 7-year-old can't rifle through the upper pegs. Ahsoka IS popular, I saw several kids squeal with excitement when they found one when the first figure came out---but it only happened if she was visible on a lower peg. I honestly think younger kids just don't "search"---they only stand around in the aisles and stare at what they can see.
  15. Exactly---especially by the end--you may not like him, you may even hate him by then---but "Gods damn it" you'll admire him.
  16. Tigh is *the* best character IMHO, not one of the best. I started thinking that near the end of season 2, and 3 and 4 only confirmed it.
  17. Have I ever mentioned that one of the main reasons I like 4th gen F-bodies is their tapered nose? The 5th gen is the exact opposite of that.
  18. I'd love to buy a 600-piece entirely unassembled kit, if it'd cut down the price even more. I mean, I eventually have to take apart and reassemble all my Yamatos anyways...
  19. "One last mind-frak" from Leoben. He can torture her beyond the grave... (well, you know what I mean) BTW---for a lot of characters, you still haven't seen the things that'll REALLY affect them later in the series. It's just getting started with the events on New Caprica. PS---the "Adama manuever" was extremely stressful on the ship. The CGI model is forever dented and burned. Be sure to take a good look in the future eps.
  20. Haven't really been out yet. Been kinda sick the past few days, staying home when possible. Also, I've read that the normal Ahsoka has been re-released in new packaging, with different and better paint apps on the face---may try to find that one instead. Finally, I'm sure I'm about the only person who'd rather have a good Juhani figure more than a good Bastila figure.
  21. There were a few lines in Frontier about the loss of air from the vajra attacks---so it's certainly a large concern of colony fleets.
  22. At least he's a character a "moderate" SW fan will recognize. There's characters in that list where they say "sat next to A, B, and C in the cantina" and I don't recognize ANY of the names...
  23. I was going to say that too---watch 3 and 4 together.
  24. In short--every character's experiences during this period will pay off, story-wise and emotionally. May happen mid-season, maybe not until the last ep of the series. But IMHO nothing is "unimportant" for the next group of eps. (MAN it's hard to say anything without spoiling anything--there's SO many things) Side note---I didn't watch the webisodes until AFTER Season 3. Wish someone had told me to watch them first. PS---what episode are you at?
  25. My theory: A bigger dome on M7 would require a lot more air and oxygen. That seems to be a fairly precious resource. M25 has all those bio-processing-plants, and can thus support that massive volume.
