  1. Uh, no. It's just that they've introduced a "new" character and have done nothing BUT episodes about her lately. She's the duchess of a planet and their chief representative. Who goes on all sorts of action-adventures with her blaster-pistol, and often gets into trouble where her favorite Jedi friend has to rescue her. Only she's blonde, so that makes her slightly different than Padme.
  2. I'm going to leave this here, because azrael's head might explode.
  3. Oh, I just thought of how to rename this thread. But I'll have to wait until it's actually released.
  4. ????? It's the Yamato toy, unassembled. It wasn't designed to be a glue-together kit, nor was it designed to be a snap-tite kit. It is what it is---an unassembled toy. One step away from LEGOs in that regard. If anything, it's a screw-together "kit".
  5. Yeah, but the PLOT is a single-player offline game.
  6. Ouch, White Knight Chronicles was released and I don't think anyone noticed. Seems to have some pretty big flaws, though there's just as many 9.0 reviews (none by professional sites, just reader/buyer reviews). So many there's something that really appeals to some.
  7. Ok, if you're arguing for "likeness" then I'll agree. But the whole lips thing is why I've disliked nearly every female character depiction in the Joe universe in the last couple years. Especially most depictions of Scarlett.
  8. I hope so. The season 2 preview showed tons of new bounty hunters and Jedi, but mainly we've gotten "Padme's blonde sister".
  9. No no no. Over-pouty lips are the biggest issue in 'female character design' of the past 5 years. Every show/game/comic has that problem lately. "Big" is not the end-all be-all, and it's just lazy design. There's a zillion lip shapes out there in the real world, with tremendous variation. Yet all you see nowadays is the one basic design.
  10. Resolute Baroness? New mold? Partial new mold? (though either way, I won't purchase a 7-pack just for her) ::edit:: Nevermind, good pics here: http://photos.yojoe.com/showgallery.php?cat=684 Headsculpts on Baroness and Scarlett suck. Still annoyed that the best Baroness ever was only released once, as part of a 5-pack. Has yet to be repainted etc.
  11. I haven't been keeping up---have the last 2 eps ALSO been purely Duchess/Obi-Wan? If so I'll pass.
  12. That sounds like when the plastic is so hard and non-porous that the tampo printing won't really adhere.
  13. Anyone else think things were a lot better this week? (though this post will probably jinx it)
  14. There's a billion pics at every site BTW, ToyFair started.
  15. And if it auto-morphs, that means arm mode and leg mode are identical.
  16. That's a new one. 757 refuelling in mid-air. Seems it may be one-of-a-kind, assigned to SOCOM.
  17. I think I should feel proud? that I don't get that.
  18. That's not really an "oops" IMHO. Snow collapsing a hangar happens.
  19. At $7, you're obligated to provide to those MW members who still don't have one...
  20. It's not news. And it is simply the normal toy, unpainted and unassembled. It's the successor to the unpainted but assembled version they did a month or two ago. Based on other Yamato toys, I would use Plastruct weld to glue it together. (orange label)
  21. You're not taking a team of cadets in a lone Defiant, are you? (god is that a nerdy in-joke)
  22. Also, opposite of "surviving ME 2", I'd like it to actually take some effort to beat the reapers. You have to TRY to kill Shepard in ME 2. I don't mean difficult as in actual combat of the final boss, but as in "you have to do more than the minimum plot missions". For ME 3, I'd like it so you can finish the game quickly and see AN ending, but if you want to actually beat the reapers, you better have a decent number of upgrades/companions etc.
  23. Seeing that task force in action would be been pure eyecandy for the fans, as it included multiple class leaders---the Galaxy and Intrepid themselves for starters. (though the Galaxy had already been seen on DS9) But I think that would have been about our only look at an Intrepid that wasn't Voyager.
  24. Hey, fight-wise, Nemesis is among my all-time faves. It's just all the non-ship scenes that suck.
  25. I finished ME 1 again yesterday, to get a female Paragon save ready to import. And realized at the very end, that since that was actually started with a newgame+ character, I'm going to have a "ruthless" paragon. Though, it seems your "reputation" matters very little in ME 2, and I doubt it'll have much effect in ME 3. Just a line or two of dialogue I bet. Actions/choices are far more important. Which leads me to hopes for ME 3 overall---I wish (but don't except much) that ME 3 will play out VERY differently depending on ME 1 and 2 choices. Since it's "the end" and won't need to "match up" to an ME 4 etc, they could have extremely different paths. Entire planets that do or don't appear due to choices made. Characters that will only join if you're a paragon etc. Perma-deaths midway through the game of essential members. Just imagine how awesome it could be if say the first half of ME 3 is pretty "standard" but then it starts splitting drastically between paragon/renegade, and what allies you have etc. One path could have the final assault be a lone team against a reaper flagship in dark space, while the other could be a space-borne battle against the reaper fleet near Earth. Etc. A truly DIFFERENT game depending on what you do. (Valkyrie Profile 1 is still the best example of this, though Phantasy Star III also attempted it)
