Hmmn. Wouldn't work QUITE as well on a VF-1 I think, having no tailplanes.

I clicked just so I could see a limited-release valk that actually had "add to cart" there.

No, it just seems that for once a show-character got their toy ahead of their debut. I hear he's a pirate, or something like that.- 17378 replies

Really, shouldn't Grace be Akiko?
-
That was always my issue with it----which also leads to the "half-raised/pivoted" chest section to lift the arms up over the wings. It just never looked that good even when Kawamori drew it, and it works even less well in an actual figure.

I want to say that'd make a very cool Transformer. -
And due to the size difference, a lot of 1/72 F-14 stuff fits a 1/60 VF-1 well. (and half the master file etc schemes are modified F-14 schemes anyways)

I had figured about a 50% chance it'd be you to bring up that point. (the other 50% would be jenius)

Re: the car apartment. If you could actually drive into your living room---that'd be cool. But a 5-10 minute sequence to have it delivered near your living room behind glass? Seems a massive time-waste. Just think about bringing in groceries or luggage or something. (of course, if you're that rich, you don't need to haul your own groceries or luggage) -
Yeah, like the Fokker-style YF-29 which was so easy to get.

Stupid question from not watching the whole video-----is the entire game that dark? I mean, yeah, I get the whole stealth-ninja aspect, but all I saw was pretty much some icons over a black screen.

Also the presence or lack of a fin/boom between the booster nozzles, and the number of micro-missile ports on top of the booster. -
And it's got a lot more animation/screen time than the VF-4, for sure.

Has he been practicing stake-impaling and axe-throwing too?

I think the arm-attachment part was inspired by how it was done with Bruticus in the FoC trailer------which is a good thing, because it was awesome.- 9330 replies

Meh, Grace/Mylene would be so much better...
-
You mean besides the new movie currently filming?

Has anyone mentioned that the little red hinge in the chest armor is painted, and not molded that color? You could probably just plunk it in some rubbing alcohol and the paint'd peel off, if you want it grey. (for screen accuracy, it should really be mostly grey with "fold quartz magenta" in the middle)

Yup, those are definitely Sidewinder-X's. -
I think most every model-builder with any sci-fi interest has done a "fiber-optic starship" or two. PG Unicorn would have to be easier than that.

No they don't. They have one or two LED's in the head and maybe chest. Gundams have had that for years. And that's not what I (or most others I suspect) expect from a PG Unicorn. Those are light-up heads, not light-up armor. I pretty much want every single red bit to glow. Might need massive amounts of lightpiping and fiberoptics, or nano-SMD LEDs all throughout to make it happen. Not just the torso, but the arms and legs, right to the tips. Anything less isn't worth it---otherwise you could just throw a big LED in the middle of the HG kit (like many have).

That's what I read. But still---I want it! Clear parts don't do it, I want an internally-illuminated mode Unicorn. (preferably transformable, but I fear transforming and internal wiring/lighting just don't go together)

Kadena F-15's in HD. If you want to see what a real fight would be like (vs Hollywood/Ace Combat spitting-range) watch this. (and in full-screen)
