    Whereabouts in Frontier did you stop? I think it got better towards the latter half, but then dipped a bit right before the very end. Really, I think the change is overall about where most people start seeing Ranka as a stupid brat, and start cheering for Sheryl (for she becomes much less of a stuck-up bitch and more selfless) (sorry Ranka fans, but she went from "cute" to "stupid" over the course of the series)

    Yet no combiners, and combiners make up like half of all 3P offerings and seem to be THE thing fans want. FP Bruticus and TFC Hercules are still THE landmark releases among 3P stuff, for really grabbing people's attention, and converting many of the most hardcore "Hasbro-only" fans. 90% of the G1 stuff I still have, is combiners. Sure, I'll probably pick up Hasbro's new Blitzwing, but that's it. All the rest of my money goes to combiners--and Hasbro isn't offering any good ones. (yeesh, they followed up FoC Bruticus with BH Abominus)

    Is TRU discounting/clearancing MP TC at all? I haven't been to mine since TC first showed up, but I passed due to the many "coloring issues" I have with it. (despite TC being my all-time fave TF---but that's why I have strong feelings on adding tattoos to him and making him the wrong shade of blue) I will buy him only if I can get him cheap.

    For the first time since, well, probably Xmas, I saw some new figs today (excluding the FoC Combaticons): BH dlx Soundwave, voy Prime and Predaking. Predaking is a slightly pearlescent orange, which is nice. But so far the only BH figure I plan to buy is Sinnertwin. (maybe, maybe the big huge Predaking, but it will depend almost solely on his transformation complexity--from what I can see so far, it may be simpler than the Voyager version----Supreme Cheetor strikes again)

    More than any of the "real" seekers? I mean, I bet MP Skywarp or Starscream would sell better in the US on the new mold despite being re-releases, than Acidstorm. 90% of G1 fans don't even know who he is. (especially if Starscream is grey and clean this time, as opposed to white with soot patches---and a blue nosecone instead of gunmetal) I admit Skywarp's potential sales are kinda iffy, as his colors would likely be identical to the previous release, and is a "lesser" character than Starscream. Thundercracker always has the potential to be rich dark metallic blue vs animation plain blue, but Skywarp's colors are pretty set across even multiple releases. (I however, would so buy a new-mold MP Skywarp--rather have a nice G1-toy-colored Thundercracker, but will take what I can get)

    I very much like how you did the "chest stripes". My only concern is the missiles---I can't imagine that anyone ever, of any movie/show/anime, would get a special set of missiles custom-painted to match their plane.

    Suggestions wanted----Blu-Ray player with built-in WiFi for streaming netflix. Now, that's most of them nowadays, but the criteria is: For old people. Needs to have best/simplest remote, and the menu/interface has to be super-simple. They need to be able to turn it on, and get to netflix and pick a movie to watch that night in as few button-presses as possible.

    I need one, period! I have the super pack, armour pack, and 0 valks to put them on. I too hope they do a reissue with the Tornado pack, so I can sell off the tornado pack to people with the earlier renewals. (it's already spoken for, Eugimon claimed my potential future spare tornado pack long ago) I just pray they don't change the colors, and make it minty-blue like the last time...

    Isn't that part of the basic transformation to battroid mode? Or do you just mean in fighter mode? (and then, it does so when equipped with full armor) I agree the only time we see anything akin to high-speed mode for the -25 (and in pure basic fighter form), it doesn't fold its fins though. (end of ep 13)

    I think I'm going to pass on FoC Grimlock. Tail too fat, chest too hollow. (I know I'm in the minority, but my TF's spend lots of time in alt-mode. I kept my MP-01 in truck mode for like a year straight)

    The -25's fins don't "line up" with anything though, and they actually lay above the wings when flat. AFAIK. Does the masterfile show some different arrangement than the Frontier CGI show models and all the kits/toys? The -30's appear to be exactly "inter-meshed" with the wings, not merely parallel to.

    It better be able to do high-speed mode like in the game---it's quite simple, unlike the -19's. They just have to make sure all the edges/angles line up.

    Did we know that the YF-30 has a high-speed mode prior to this? The tailfins fold down flat and seem to perfectly mesh in with the trailing edge of the wing, making it a delta-winged plane.

    If you're doing a Tu-144, then you should do a Concorde! That'd be like going from an F-15 to a MiG-25... Anyways---I've though an Su-24 might work, you could fudge the scale a bit to make it a lot bigger than the others. (A Tornado has a very similar shape, but it'd look odd if it was much bigger than the others)
