Got one at NY, was in a hyper-rush so I chose FedEx (it was at the top of the list) and didn't realize that was way more expensive than EMS (unlike HLJ's shipping prices). I just emailed them asking if I could change it to EMS. Anyone have experience with that at N-Y, changing shipping options?

If NY makes most of theirs available at the same time(s) as they did last night, I'll never get one. I didn't "miss those by a minute", that was bedtime for me. It's currently about 1AM in Japan. Should I even bother checking over the next few hours? Do they ever list stuff in the middle of the night, local time?

I would, if I could get an order in! I do need to blink/eat/sleep on occasion... Do you know how many times I've refreshed NY's page today? Their -171 CF's lasted minutes if not hours at their marked-up price.

That's what, double the price of a Hobby Search pre-order? Yeesh. And of course, sold out just as fast as before. So much for paying a premium and getting it from NY. Might as well just buy the 2011 release at Ebay prices...

I vote placeholder. No way it was slammed as hard as AmiAmi, to have like no one even SEE it, much less get into cart. Though that does mean I have to keep clicking until I go to bed, sigh...

Someone actually saw the "add to cart" button at HLJ? I was refreshing CONSTANTLY---and merely saw the date go from 00/2000 to 07/2013.

Gah, NY already gone? I tried too long at AmiAmi. I had it in my cart at AmiAmi, but couldn't check out. "login failed". That kept happening until it actually let me go to the next page, then said insufficient qty. Then went to NY, and saw they had a new page.

Pretty much. Price isn't an issue here. You desperately pray you can get one for less than 50% above MSRP. Consider anything cheaper than that a flawless victory.

A bit OT for this thread, but they're actually making Apollo 13 this time, with a new "splash-down" display. See here: http://tamashii.jp/special/o_chogokin/spec/index06.php Based on that, I'm hoping/guessing that a new shuttle will be like an 80's Atlantis or something--the "iconic" scheme.

If she picks up a few then, you could probably sell the extras here---both to those who don't want to wait for the July re-release, or are paranoid about a pre-order not being fulfilled (which is a legit concern).

The re-release of the Saturn V mentioned in the same Toys Daily post is definitely happening, as Bandai has since released new pics, as it's not exactly the same as the original.
