  1. Know what's neat? When a 3P item sells out quickly in the first run, they will often do a second run. And not for twice the price, 2 years later like "Hasbro's Asia division". The same price, like 2 months later. And then sometimes THAT still sells out, and they'll do a third run. Until they've made all that they can sell. Hegemon and Green Giant are among the few 3P items that sold out decently quickly and had continued demand, yet took a while for re-issues. But they did come. But neither of those "sold out in a day" and had people scrambling to try to get one like a Bandai Frontier valk. Anyone who wanted one right at the beginning had plenty of opportunity.
  2. Will check mine, but that area's been my #1 concern since day one.
  3. I wouldn't dare spray over 60% humidity, for a clear-coat. Would prefer 50% or less.
  4. No post-credits scene. My showing was completely kid-free, ONLY adults watching.
  5. But amazingly, not some of the most-wanted stuff: G1 toy-colors SW and TC, on that mold. Pretty much all the MP-03 repaints "don't count" anymore, now that there's a kibble-reduced more-G1 version available. We want all the core seekers, on THAT mold. And with good coloring, not sucky US versions etc. (off-white Starscream, hip-hop-tatoo Thundercracker, etc)
  6. Bonus points if you played it in an arcade! (actual arcade, not a lone machine in a pizza place or something)
  7. The Rock is the best by far. The Island has a quite good first half IMHO, then it ceases to be a sci-fi film and becomes a generic Bay "flashy cars+action+'splosions!" film. Seriously, did someone else direct the first half? I've heard much about Spielberg's involvement in the first half of TF2007, and this seems similar---where the whole first half of the movie has a different tone, and is much more about discovery and character.
  8. Considering the zillions of utter exact clones of actual Bandai product that seem to thrive (Gunpla, mainly), a derivative work that is wholly their own sculpt seems "safer". How long did Joons valks last, with nothing heard from Bandai AFAIK? KO's are far more infringing than 3rd party.
  9. A single large engine is almost always quieter than several smaller ones. Especially if they have a larger fan. The F135 being so loud is an aberration. The GE90 is one of the quietest engines around, and it's THE most powerful.
  10. Still wondering why not a single MP seeker has had an orange canopy AFAIK.
  11. It's several years later. Fairly big jump in time, especially for an animated film sequel.
  12. I was thinking of your reaction when I posted this, based on your avatar etc and first post earlier in the thread.
  13. Pretty much. TF2007 is pretty good, ROTF is awful, DOTM is less bad than ROTF. Though really---how much better would all these films be, if you stripped away the literal bathroom etc humor? Still my biggest beef with the trilogy. There's humor, then there's truly forced crass "humor" that is shoe-horned into an act, where the whole scene itself is pointless plotwise.
  14. Everyone should definitely watch the 2nd vid, as I totally agree with pretty much every word he says. Especially 1:25-1:35 in. Yup! And also have to agree with him that it's better than Frozen.
  15. Bump! Saw this instead of Edge of Tomorrow (sorry guys!). Dang, in one word---emotional. Seriously, a couple scenes are going to have the entire theater sniffling their tears back. (it helps the mood a lot to have a quiet showing of just adults, with no little kids yelling at the screen)
  16. I wondered that too. For the few external shots showing the hull number at all, I think they could have even used stock footage etc.
  17. Sword alone kills it. You do NOT mess with the most iconic thing in the entire franchise.
  18. Don't worry, it's totally not worth it and you actually get more out of it from reading a description of what it's supposed to be, than you do from actually seeing it.
  19. I turned the droid-body upside down too---it "fits her" much better that way. As for clutch power---the robot arms are ridiculously loose, and they were never too tight before. And yet the red lightsaber bars that go very near them---THOSE have some clutch power! They don't come out of their clips without a fight.
  20. Of course, another option is to simply not spend 95% or more of your available funds at a time, then pending charges etc won't put you at the limit. I see way too many people spend $768 of an $800 paycheck etc then wonder why their card gets rejected.
  21. They're going totally toon-colored, red bumper and all:
  22. Rodimus sucks. But Hot Rod is awesome. I totally want a new MP Hot Rod----car-mode only, scaled to the other MP cars.
  23. For Bluestreak--heck, for me it's pretty much "whichever came first"---I'm equally happy with toy and toon versions. But toon colors came out first, so that's what I have. Though I do feel a bit of nostalgia for the all-silver bright-silver toy version, as him and Sideswipe were my main 2 "beloved Autobot toy cars". But the black hood just looks SOOOOO cool... Anyways--best pic of MP UM so far:
  24. Both, actually. Even alt-mode is mistransformed, and that's really something.
