  1. That was my thought----the VF-5000 is far more likely to be made than most of the others, as it has actual "OVA animation"----and more than the VF-4 has! (Also a Liza figure would be awesome) True, the MAXL has more raw screen time than possibly even the MacPlus valks, but it's so "nontraditional" and with zero repaint or remold options, it's not all that likely sadly.
  2. Gah, ruined forever! (for me at least, now) Personally, I can't think of a single car that had a large, low-mounted grille that I think looked good. I can however, think of many that had small, tapered front ends that looked awesome. (I do so love wedge-shaped cars)
  3. I never really understood the dialogue there either, so this is interesting. (yeah, it's only 2 words, but as you can see...)
  4. If anyone ever wants to split the HA/SR options pack, I'd up for it. I just want Sandrock's parts. (not a big enough fan of Heavyarms to buy it solely to justify buying the 2-pack of option parts). Really, that still strikes me as about the biggest money grab Bandai's done in a while---Sandrock's differences are VERY minor, and it only was the "space" version for what, 3 eps? But that's the version they made, then made a hard-to-get very overpriced option set the only way to get the MAIN STANDARD COMMON version. Annoyed me enough to pretty much cut back on most all my other RD purchases. I was planning on getting just about any and all "Wing" mecha----but cut back to basically SR/Epyon/Tallgeese. Way too many variants/option packs that SHOULD BE STANDARD/INCLUDED. Plus they seem overpriced IMHO. (compare a Bandai valk to a Bandai RD Wing figure, for what you get) I'm surprised they actually included a "lit" saber for Epyon, and didn't sell it separately... Really, you have to buy the option pack for Leo just to get some of its standard weapons and an articulated head? That's just ridiculous. ::end rant::
  5. That'd be Mylene's -1J. (and nobody here wants a MAXL more than me--that's what I voted for, with the -3000 getting the "secondary" vote)
  6. How well would Milia -1J's sell if they were pink? (my beef is with the game---they're the ones who should have known not to use pastel colors on the planes!) I'd be all up for a "corrected" VF-3000 M&M scheme. I assume the game was wrong, and that M&M's VF-3000's were "really" red and blue like their other valks.
  7. The VF-11's did look awesome, because they were actually red and blue. The VF-3000's were pink and periwinkle however... Idealized versions of the M3 schemes look good in most cases (not the VF-4 however). But the ACTUAL M3 valk appearances look poor in most cases.
  8. Very much so. What happened to the guy who made the VF-9's wings turn into the CHEST?
  9. I noticed it long ago. "green plastic" is enough to make me not buy it no matter the source/price. Dinobots have SMOKE clear plastic, not "neon green" clear plastic.
  10. While I love the VF-3000 design, what schemes are there? I think I've only seen the M3 ones. (I am still amazed by how many not-cool Max and Milia schemes exist in that game--you've gotta try hard to make M&M valks NOT look cool, but they managed several times)
  11. PS--how would a destroid be a "PT" toy?
  12. This would work much better as a multi-choice poll.
  13. Came in to say "Firefox" but saw I was beaten...
  14. Gotta be the old blue. Because if it isn't, then it's 99% the same as the old one, and not anywhere near what it needed to be changed to.
  15. 2 fewer tailfins certainly helped save weight and drag...
  16. Looking at the Delorean---they really need to go with "warm" white LED's for the headlights. Pretty sure it didn't have HID's... Couldn't find any movie stills easily, but assuming both this replica and the movie car remained stock there:
  17. THAT. It's pretty much the defining "shared experience" of a valk-fan nowadays.
  18. The numerous ridges make many think it was designed by Cassy. (who is a free-lance designer who has worked for several 3P companies---MMC, Igear, KFC, etc----anything with a lot of ridges, was probably his work at some point)
  19. They're gonna be ginormous---here's the combiner foot: And here's their Sludge sorta-near TFC's not-Predaking (no, not a single member, that's the combined form) Interestingly, combiners from TFC, MMC, and WB have all showed up in the background of this photo set---so they may be "checking out the competition" and hopefully picking out the best bits, correcting errors, etc.
