    Of course. I still haven't figured out why nobody seems to make REAL space shuttle alt-modes any more. But this is still closer to the real thing than anything else any company has done in 15+ years. I mean, stuff like this just makes me ask--"why?": Either totally do your own thing, or flat-out do a real one. Don't "uglify" NASA's---but that seems to be the #1 option the past dozen years...

    It's definitely my fave of the two Astrotrains coming. But the colors they picked---is like the worst combo of real-world and toon. Do one or the other. "White shuttle with random purple chunks" just plain doesn't look good. Either do white/black, or grey/purple. (or if you want to do G1 toy colors, then make it look INTENTIONAL, with the white and purple placement---G1 had a clear delineation between the white and purple areas, looked good/intentional----how Toyworld did it looks like random parts on random sprues were molded in different colors, all the color-separation-lines are "jagged")

    Anyone else feel this season isn't living up to season 1? It started off strong, but I'm feeling the latter half of season 2 isn't as good as season 1's. Not bad by any means, but at this point in season 1, I couldn't wait for new eps---but "not feeling it" for season 2. Still watch, but I'm not "eagerly anticipating" each new ep.

    I'd be interested in less clunky stuff for renewals too----25/27/29. All the Bandai stuff is much larger than needed, hides the gunpod, etc.

    The Insecticons are easy to do because their robot modes inherently have tons of alt-mode kibble, and their insect modes were always "bug-styled robot machines" and not *insects*.

    Yup. You can have 4 Aerialbots NOW if you buy a helicopter. Otherwise, you'll have to wait a while, until the very tail end of the line, to get the 'real' team. Same for Wildrider/Stunticons.

    Not even slightly surprised, as that mold was always Slingshot's alt-mode to begin with. It's like 90% Sea Harrier, 10% (if that) F-4.

    I gotta wonder if the prop has a smaller diameter now, having gotten the tips shorn off... (a blade on the down-swing would have been the lowest point of the plane)

    Yeah, and you shouldn't need a massive correction kit for such a basic thing, that no other kit ever got wrong before. The biggest/newest/most expensive kit shouldn't be the least-accurate in overall cross-section.

    I think licensing plays a big part in what MP's get made nowadays. And Chevy+Transformers=easy license.

    Based on the YF-19's color changes/issues, and their utter inability to get anywhere near the proper VF-0D color, I'd say yes.

    First thing I ever noticed when I saw the first dry-fit test of that kit. "OMG, it looks like a MiG-25 from head-on". IMHO, it's one of the biggest errors I've seen in many years. Unforgiveable considering how many pics exist of the F-14 on the web.
